The best part was the location just a few blocks to the ocean and not much further to the center of town. And the price was definitely reasonable. Other than that, I have nothing good to say about this hotel. None of the cleaning staff speak English so they can’t help you. There is no Office so you have nobody to speak to if you have a problem. Almost impossible to get early check-in or late check out because you can’t get somebody to respond to you. The blankets were so thin and we tried to get extra blankets and nobody would respond to our requests. We ended up taking them on our own when we saw staff cleaning, and the staff room was open. Very disappointing on the lack of being able to communicate with anybody. Had to message them at least six times regarding the blankets and getting late check out. A few of the outlets didn’t work. What they consider a kitchen was gross. It was generally clean, but low pressure in the shower. The pool was OK but there were only three lounge chairs so they definitely need at least 5 to 8 more. Would not go back and I’m glad I was only there for a few days.

The quality of the furniture was disappointingly poor, and to our dismay, we were not allocated the room we had initially rented. Instead, we were given a less desirable room lacking the kitchen amenities we had anticipated. Despite our reservation for a two-room apartment, we were provided with a single-room accommodation.||The staff members were uncooperative and failed to assist with our concerns. The room itself was unsatisfactory, displaying evident signs of dirt and mold. Adding to the discomfort, the charging sockets were malfunctioning. Moreover, the assurance of an ocean view, as conveyed during the rental process, proved to be false.||Given the overall dismal quality of our experience, I unequivocally advise against choosing this accommodation.

The units here are all managed by Lowkl now. They advertise it as The Great Escape by Lowkl. The furniture is incredibly cheap, vertical blinds are missing slats, mold in the bathroom window. Old wood floors are dirty and finish is worn off. Mattresses are awful as well. The bathroom sink is missing the plug. The kitchen does not have a dishwasher (not a big deal), but we were only given one dish towel the size of a wash cloth. The only condiments in the kitchen are salt and pepper packets. There are no baking dishes. Two of the three frying pans were dirty. The third was too thin to use. ||Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else. The only positive about this place was its location. We are incredibly sorry we stayed here. Worst place we have ever seen in all our years of travel.

Great clean apartments! Located within walking distance from Publix and restaurants and the beach! Super nice to have a full apartment style space with a bed (very firm mattress, not the most comfy), bathroom, and full kitchen. Laundry on site was very convenient. Nice pool with chairs and nice seating. Only downside was the check in process and lack of room service. There is NO office on site so you call the number and they email you the code for your room after filling out a short form. There was no room cleaning during our 8 day stay which was a bit of a bummer. If we stayed any longer, we would have called to see if a mid stay cleaning would be possible.

Don't get me wrong, the room is very nice and beautiful although it doesn't need the incense. However, check in was an absolute nightmare. I get to the place, there is no office, only a number with a call center representative. Apparently the only way you can gain access to your room is to call them, download their application... fill out their application and send it back. Took a lot of time. Mind you, i have severe health problems and there is no shade on the property or no cool place to sit so I had to do this on my mobile data in my car in the blazing hot sun with loud traffic on the street. I constantly could not hear the person on the phone, the application was giving me problems, and all she wanted to do was hang up on me!! I needed to get to my room, and she refused until I sent this application back. She didn't care that I was in distress and was feeling sick from the heat. Then she gives me the wrong code... I had to call back twice to get that right... then I had to call once again for the wifi as there are no pamphlets or anything inside that tells you anything. And there is no housekeeping but there were sufficient towels and soaps provided. Room was nice. Service just terrible. Make sure BEFORE you arrive you have a code to your door. Never in my life was I denied a room till I sent an application back, especially when it was already prepaid. Many places give you till the next day for paperwork to be complete as a common courtesy. Not this place.

Overall amenities were as expected from a motel. Our one bedroom apartment was spacious and clean enough. AC worked well. Pool and outdoor furniture were in good condition. Very close to beach, restaurants and shops. |However what made this a bad experience for us was the very strong moldy smell. Water under the bath tub and there was also visible mold in the bathroom.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Great Escape Inn for my birthday celebration. Not only was the inn staff warm and welcoming, they were beyond helpful! Liz and John arranged for our easy late-check-in and even held our bags after we had checked out while we were awaiting our flight. My whole stay felt like I was staying with friends. The location is perfect, every necessity in walking distance. Rooms were spacious and clean. The beach was a block away and the pool area was lovely and tucked away from the traffic of A1A, like a little FLL Oasis. Can't wait to visit again!

The place is definitely dated. Pretty bad musty smell in the room (even for Florida) and the bed was pretty aweful. AC does blow cold and it’s about a 1/2 block walk to the beach (around the corner). Also no extra kitchen amenities like coffee filters or sugar packets or anything like that.
