Stayed at this motel in July. I've driven by it many times, but this was my first stay.||I would definitely stay here again as the positives outweigh the cons. The owners were very nice and accommodating. Definitely recommend this motel!||Pros:||Very reasonable price compared to other hotels in the area!||The grounds were very well maintained.||Large room, very clean, and the bathroom was updated.||Pool was nice and it was heated.||Great ice machine.||Great location: mini golf, go carts, ice cream and chain restaurants all nearby and it's on the trolley line!||Housekeeping was great!||Cons:||WiFi was somewhat slow||Double beds (vs. Queen)||Lighting was pretty dim in the room at night. ||Not a lot of extra outlets available to charge electronics, so bring necessary adapters||Mattress was a little too hard/firm for my tastes.
We have stayed at this motel in August for the last three years. The room has always been very clean and the cleaning staff during our stay have been courteous and do a thorough job. The rooms are large. There are no amenities in the room such as shampoo or a hair dryer so bring your own. |The owners are lovely people.
The Graycourt Motel was fantastic!! I have always loved the quaint, family owned motels in the Lake George area. From the minute I made my reservation until I checked out the owner was extremely kind. The price was wonderful. The grounds beautiful, including a clean, private pool. My room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. ||The location is right off of Route 9 between Queensbury and Lake George. Even though it is near the highway, I had a very quiet and peaceful stay.||This is my motel of choice whenever I am in the area! I am recommending it to Family and friends as well.
This is a seasonal motel operated by mom and pop going on fifty years with a loyal following of dedicated returning vacationers. It has clean rooms that are very economical. No room service and no on premises restaurant. A great clean swimming pool and the owner manager works hard to please. Convenient to all shopping, attractions and local restaurants. Only open for the Adirondack summer season of May to Columbus Day weekend
Great location. Walking distance to Great Escape, Mini golf, go carts and Martha's Icecream stand. Nice friendly staff. Pool is nice. Out door seating and grill area. Small playground. Needs interior facelift.
Adorable! Adirondack chairs and flower boxes outside every room, everything was clean, not even any cobwebs inside or out, and the sweetest folks own the place! Would definitely recommend and will be staying there again!
I have always loved the quaint older motels in the Lake George area. The Graycourt Motel was fantastic! The owners are extremely kind, and helpful. The room I stayed in was very clean and comfortable. There is a beautiful pool. The grounds are well kept, and there are flowers every where. Easy access off of Route 9, close to all the Lake George activities, yet quiet and peaceful. I will recommend The Graycourt to friends and Family. This motel is my choice for any trips to the Queensbury/Lake George area!!
Awesome trails! We are a couple of 60+ year olds, and have been working our way thru the local trails. This one took us almost twice as long than the same distance on Halfway Brook, we really needed to pay attention to the roots and rocks....which is
I brought my daughter and her friend here for her 15th birthday and we had such a great time! The attendant spent a lot of time going over gun safety as we needed it and allowed us to move along at our own pace. He was incredibly kind and patient, wh
Okay first of all, mini golf is pretty popular pastime in the Lake George area. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that this location has TWO courses! Thatâs 36 holes total! I believe the prices were $10 per person for one course or $16 to do both
beautiful lit XC skiing trails. trails are groomed with enough room for skate skis and classic XC skis, they also have snowshoeing trails. all the trails seem well marked. absolutely must check this place out!!
This place is a gem! Was craving some delicious Hispanic food and of course, the options in the area were limited. Stopped by La Cocina Mexicana and was pleasantly surprised! Ordered a chicken quesadilla which was fantastic! Filled with veggies and c
