Gray Gull Motel - Motel in Holden Beach - 3263 Holden Beach Rd SW, USA

Our family visited last week. The owner's were the absolute sweetest people! The rooms were remodeled and very clean. The staff were gracious and very friendly. The location was very convenient to everything. I would highly recommend this place! We will definitely be back to stay again ❤️

There's a reason I prefer to support small, locally owned businesses. The Gray Gull is a perfect example of why. We checked in and had a very minor issue in our room. Not only did they take care of it, they were quick and went above and beyond. In today's "I don't care" world, their attitude and attention was refreshing! Aside from that, our room at The Gray Gull is what you would expect from a small motel. The location is close enough to the bridge crossing over to Holden Beach to make it convenient.

We feel like we have truly found a gem amongst the islands. Owners are so helpful and friendly. You will miss out on some of the normal expectations (like having drawers for clothing), but the room is immaculate, bed is comfy, great location, nice owners and you cannot beat the price. I would definitely return.

We were visiting my niece with her husband and 3 children at the hotel. We did not stay here as we drove up from Conway, SC. I honestly have to say this is the cleanest and quietest hotel I have ever visited! The rooms are beautifully done. Even the parking and picnic areas are exceptionally clean. After going to Myrtle Beach for years I would rather drive to Holden Beach to stay here. It is convenient to restaurants and shopping without all the noise and traffic. What a dream to have such quiet and cleanliness together!!!

Break the chain and support local. This Mom and Pop motel is excellent. It is small with only a few rooms for rent. Our room was very clean and roomy. It had a refrigerator and table with chairs. The bed was comfortable. The motel is located within walking distance to restaurants, ice cream shops, and beach stores. The beach is about a mile over the Inland Waterway bridge from the hotel. Enjoy. Holden Beach is a lovely beach.

Nothing extraordinary but perfect for the beach. Love the location, size of room was good and clean, staff was awesome. All we needed for sleeping and showering.

I stayed at The Gray Gull for four days in June. It was the cleanest facility I have ever stayed and I have been staying places for over 50 years. The Robinson family was so nice and the cleaning staff were amazing. I plan on going back in the fall. Thank y'all for a wonderful vacation in such a clean and nice facility.

The cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in. Keurig in the room, with more pods sold in the hardware store nextdoor for 50¢. Mini fridge in room as well. A microwave oven would make the place absolutely perfect.
