I really don't have the ability to conjure up the appropriate words to "review" this place, the final resting place of 2 of the most influential, historic musicians, singers, songwriters, and entertainers. Johnny and June are a very special and important part of the American music landscape. This place is not about their careers, or their music. Their resting place, for me, is about them as people. Two people who loved each other through extraordinary situations. They loved each other to the very end of their days on earth. When 2 people pass so close in time to each other, there is no need for medical or scientific reasons. One simply couldn't live or exist without the other. I believe that John passed of a broken heart from losing June, the woman that meant the world to him and loved so very much.

Amazing cemetery. Pure beauty immediately. The graves of Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash were why we visited. Country music is truly in my heart with Johnny and June.

The final resting place of Johnny and June Carter Cash is a beautiful memorial to the country music greats. Mother Maybelle Carter and Merle Kilgore are resting near by. Beautiful, well maintained and respectful memorial.

Such a beautiful, meaningful and special opportunity it is to have had the ability to visit this cemetery.

Surprising to find them in a public cemetery, yet this was home for them. They lived a couple miles away for 35 years. Beautiful grave markers, with eloquent Scripture. A nice resting place for the legends.

This was so beautiful. They have done an excellent job keeping the graves gorgeous and respectful. I felt a certain peace being able to pay tribute to such a legendary couple. Thank you, Hendersonville, for giving me this opportunity. Even the other people here were very kind. I can tell from looking at this whole place they work diligently and with attention to detail to keep everybody's grave so pretty & clean.
