Beautiful fall colors have arrived at Grasshopper Point. Open 9 to 5 for the gate, and it doesn't get dark for another hour. $12 for parking and bathrooms are clean. Bonus, there are no crowds here. The picnic table overlooks the creek, and you can walk in the creek bed to explore. Check out these waterfalls, too!
The Allen's Bend Trail is easy .5 miles to creek through the trees. You can cross the creek if you are prepared to get wet and hike Casner Canyon.
The Midgley Bridge Trail takes you to the bridge and connects with Wilson trails.
Great spot to get away from the heat!
Very mild hike to the water where you can go for a (cold) dip. Beautiful surroundings- bring water shoes if possible.
$12 car parking fee, bathrooms available
Beautiful and quieter place compared to Slide Rock, nice cliffs to jump into the water from. A great pace to have a little picnic.
Parking is $12, America Beautiful Pass if not accepted.
Awesome place, not so nice people... Seems that humans never learn, they find a nice place and treat it poorly, we saw trash and some vandalism. It can get crowded and busy even during the week. Parking is limited and it costs. Easy hike down to the spot.
It's a beautiful area and pretty swimmable. However, you should bring water shoes! Be careful treking through the rocks, because there are some loose ones that might cause you to fall. The actual swimming area can get pretty crowded, but you can sometimes find calmer streams to sit in.
This place is really pretty! I definitely recommend wearing water shoes and taking coolers that are not on wheels. Walking down to the water there were rocks and in the water there were rocks. There are not many areas to lay down but you can sit on the large rocks. There is an area to cliff jump into the water. Parking was $12 and there was a restroom in the parking lot. In comparison to slide rock this location is much smaller.
We took our kids 10, 7, 5 and 2 and they managed the short walk from parking lot to water but it's very rocky. Wear real shoes and bring water shoes for swimming and cliff jumping. Great for swimming and way less crowded than Slide Rock. Definitely wo
Well well. My stomach fell off.
But i did it. What a beautiful place. Everyone was happy seeing the jump

Came today, stopped on way back after going to Soldier's Pass cave. Amazing trip. Finally got to take out the Rubicon 392. Thankful to the Forest service road accessibility allowing Jeeps to run on it. The wife enjoyed the hiking but thankful for the

Very neat, clean place with a good ambience to dine in. Their burgers are very tasty. It tasted way different than any burgers I had before. More buttery, cheesy, crispy in a very good way, I guess. Reasonable prices compared to other eateries in Sed
