What an amazing find. Self catering and beautiful home with every amenity and more! Beautifully furnished Sitting rooms, kitchen worthy of preparing a feast with all the utilities you might need to do so. Outside barbecue, ,fire pit, hot tub and patio in a lovely, peaceful and private backyard. The bedrooms are roomy with the most comfortable beds, bathroom has everything you might need and may have forgotten. Impeccably clean and well furnished. It feels like a 5 star accommodation with 2 star prices. We will be back!
We were pleasantly surprised by this little Inn! Overall, the room was super cute and comfortable to stay in. All the check-in and check-out instructions were also easy to follow. Despite the Inn being shared with other guests, we didn't have any issues. Would recommend to others if this is their kind of vibe!
Amazing stay for our extended family (10 people, ages 4-70) - plenty of space, great backyard for hanging out and relaxing, responsive host, and perfect location only a 5-10 min walk from downtown. Highly recommend, and will definitely book again next time we're in the area.
The house was amazingly well outfitted; it was a perfect location for walking downtown to the restaurants or taking short rides to the wineries. Our room was comfortable, quiet and met all our needs. The bathrobes and toiletries were a super nice bonus.
Beautiful home and room. The details and set up was perfect! I would take this location anytime over a hotel room. So quaint and charming. Very pleased with my stay.
The Grape Escape (thank you Hosts Jaydon and Karen!) provided a reunion location for cousins that hadn’t all been together at one time since childhood–60 years ago. It gave us a wonderful place to relax, reminisce, and reconnect with each other. It was a beautiful, spacious Victorian home (fully-stocked with everything we needed); the large dining table became the “hub” for meals and games, it had plentiful bedrooms and bathrooms, and the firepit outside at night allowed for heartfelt talk and delicious s’mores (ingredients provided!). Treasured memories for all of us!
Close enough to downtown to walk to good restaurants and the farmers market. Also close enough to all the wineries - most are within 15 minutes drive.
Lovely place and the hosts were very friendly and attentive, yet didn't intrude and gave us plenty of space. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer, since we had other plans to travel to after our 1 night here.
Tricia was an excellent host from start to finish. Room was perfectly clean. The home was warm and cozy inside and out. Breakfast was 5 stars. Cant wait to stay again.
I've been coming here since I was a little kid. Nice park with plenty of shaded picnic areas. Of course, there's the lake and river. Can't forget about the bike/walk trial. Perfect to take morning walks.
