Grape Creek Vineyards - Winery in Fredericksburg - 10587 US-290, USA

We did the wine tour and tasting and had such a great time! There are so many wineries to visit in the Fredericksburg area but this one is highly rated for good reason. They grow most of their grapes on the grounds and you can’t find their wine in stores. You can definitely taste the difference in the tastings. Definitely recommend if you are in the area. Do keep in mind that they are super strict about time. We called ahead to let them know we would be 5 to 10 mins late and they had to shift us to a later tour.

The guy at our front entrance gave us a warm greeting! He helped me pick out wine and shared a little tip on how to store it: the cork needs to stay wet to prevent the wine from oxidizing, so keep your wine tilted. The inside of the building was very clean and classy, reminding me of a fine dining restaurant. The customer service was excellent; they retrieved the wine quickly, and I was able to get in and out in under 10 minutes. Despite not drinking myself, I bought the wine as gifts, and I'm sure my friends will love it! Additionally, both the restrooms and the outdoor walking area were nice and clean. I highly recommend visiting here!

Incredible! Food and wine are both worth your drive from Austin or SA! Amanda was awesome as our wine steward. Did the tour and lunch and will be coming back!

Ashley was so knowledgeable during our tasting! She gave great recommendations and went the extra mile! Absolutely awesome service! THE MEMBERSHIP IS SO WORTH IT! Free to sign up, and highly discounts the locally made wine!! A membership is required for the restaurant and the patio, we sat on the patio and had small appetizers and were taken care of by Joshua and Nahun! They were incredible and I will definitely be back when in fredericksburg!!

What a great experience! My husband and I did the taste and tour this weekend. It was educational, fun, and delicious! Shoutouts to our driver, Cam, our winery guide, Monica, and Laurie our wine server at the end of the t&t! We did become members and visited the patio for our free glass today and had a delicious artichoke dip and hummus plate. Josh on the patio was a great wine steward too!

I did a wine tasting with my family and it was amazing. Eve was our guide and she did such a wonderful job with the tour! We joined the membership and will definitely be coming back!!

The BEST time. Definitely the best vineyard to go to. We are not wine drinkers and Mr. Dan was amazing! He taught us everything we needed to know from how to smell it, to how it’s made, the difference between barrel wines and stainless steel barrel wines. Long story short we left as members and bought 3 bottles of wine! The best wine I’ve ever had. 12/10 recommend Mr. Dan and grape creek❤️

You can’t spell Grape Creek without REEK because the man pictured reeks of horrible customer service. As a previous member at Grape Creek looking to rejoin, he made my decision to take my business elsewhere extremely easy. @ Grape Creek management, my ask of you is to set your expectations for future guest service relations employees higher as they are the first point of contact for your future members. So sad to be leaving a one star review for my favorite winery but it is what is it.
