Warren county did a great job with the campsites. There is so much space, The fire pits are the best out of any campsite we've been to. The new bathroom/shower is very clean.
We enjoyed a lovely afternoon walking the Wood Duck Trail and the Five Bridges Loop. The Warren County Conservation Board deserves praise for a well maintained park.
Love walking here!! Enough hills to make a good strenuous walk. A pond for something different tht. Campsites at the top of the hill. Might have to check them out in the summer
Very nice park, quiet, a few new primitive campsites and decent trails.
Quiet, primitive camping. Pit toilets. Appears to be free as no rates posted. Nice campsites. Picnic tables provided and nice firepits. Main downside is you will need to bring water with you. No hydrants available. Some spots have more shade than others.
Super nice free campground. I think there are only 10 spots but well worth a little extra drive off major highways. Sites are basic with a small concrete pad to place chairs around a nice fire pit area and a picnic table at each. Pit toilets. No showers/water. No power. We stayed one night on our way through to MT from IN. We arrived late and weren't sure how to check in/reserve a spot but we found an empty spot, set up and had no issue. There are some info boards as you enter that have park rules, etc. and mention getting a registration tag and placing it in site posts but we saw nowhere to get the tags. Really nicely kept area and extremely quiet at night. We heard several owls and some coyotes in the distance later at night. We did note a large covered shelter near the entrance that looked fairly new. Wish I could have got some decent pictures but all I have is the moon through the trees at night as it was dark when we arrived and raining when we woke up and we had to hit the road again. Would absolutely recommend and stay again.
Very clean, very quiet, large fresh mowed lots with huge fire rings. 100% FREE, highly recommended. There are also several very big, very cool and very inexpensive public pools within 15 to 30 minutes, and the Blank Zoo is just 20 minutes away 👍👍
Fantastic free place to camp for up to 14 days. Only 10 spots. Weekends are busy. Very clean and quiet.
