We enjoyed our brunch at Granny D’s - seems like a spot my Grandma would’ve loved! Pancakes as big as a plate! They’ve got all kinds of breakfast options and lunch too- only open till 2 pm! The pies are amazing! Could use a spruce up in ladies restroom… but overall a fun country home style atmosphere! They were very busy when we went - food took a bit longer than we would usually expect - but all very tasty when it arrived! Jacked up waffle w/ bacon- carrot cake pancake - vegetarian omelet and Patriot sourdough French toast! Lil chocolate cream pie to go!! Would recommend and will come again!
The food was amazing and the staff were really nice. We didn't get to eat inside, but when we come back, we definitely will. Even ordering to go I was very pleased.
Great "home style" cooking from this privately owned restaurant located in a nicely converted old house or shop. The large parking lot may be full at peak times because the food here is awesome. We were here for breakfast, but they have many lunch entrées as well. The breakfast section fills two pages on their menu, and includes various us combinations of eggs, bacon, Canadian bacon, hash browns, home fries, omelets, pancakes - both regular and specialty flavored, waffles, chicken waffles, and more. Portions are large and the service is friendly. Come on down & get yiu some!
Read the reviews and had to try it! Superb breakfast -Delicious home cooked! I had the Paw Paw breakfast: two eggs, two sausage, hashbrowns, big biscuit, and gravy. My husband had the vegetarian omelette and hashbrowns. We split an order of chili cheese fries. You can order breakfast anytime! Everything was so delicious!
Came here for brunch with the family. It was a wait of 45 minutes to be seated , but it was worth it. The pancakes 🥞 are delicious and big. The oatmeal was amazing, but they used frozen fruit instead of fresh ones 😕. I definitely recommend this place. Great food great service.
We came to Granny D’s our last of our vacation and it was great. We came around 10am and had to wait 1hour + because we had 10 people in our party. The service was ok due to it being extremely busy. If I could redo I would’ve come earlier in the morning. Also, for the amount of food the price is decent. You won’t leave here hungry. I would recommend this place to a friend. FYI pancakes are HUGE.
The pancakes really have to be seen to be believed! Was our first experience of an American diner. Had a good time, but when we paid the bill the waitress seemed rather upset about tipping 'just' 15%. Put a bit of a downer on the end of the experience.
We went here for breakfast and I had not read any reviews so I had an unbiased opinion. Note as other people have posted- you only need one pancake. One is the size of a pizza. They are also at least half an inch thick. We had a meat and vege omelette, bacon and eggs and a Pancake. Everything was really good but not amazing. If you are in this area and want breakfast, definately a cute spot but very small country place.
The first time here in overall food was good service was quick and because you're in a bar there is always going to be some music playing. Had Philly, turkey club and Cubano. Reason for 4 star on food, was turkey club was a lite on meat, and lettuce
What a great find! Very welcoming and yum...the tea and shake were delicious. They want you to be satisfied with what you ordered. So glad to enjoy a healthy lunch.
Absolutely awesome place! Was a little dim for getting ready for a wedding so i would recommend bringing a light up make up mirror if you need to do glam during your stay. Otherwise its great. The heater that looks like a fireplace is a great touch!
