Granite City Food & Brewery - American restaurant in Davenport - 5270 Utica Ridge Rd, USA

My wife and I recently dined at Granite City in Davenport, Iowa, and we had an outstanding experience. She opted for the bacon cheeseburger, while I chose the grilled salmon. The food was absolutely top-notch. The bacon cheeseburger was juicy and flavorful, and the grilled salmon was cooked to perfection. We couldn't have asked for a more delicious meal. Beyond the incredible food, what truly stood out was the exceptional service we received. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. Our dining experience was truly a 5-star one from start to finish. If you're in Davenport and looking for a restaurant that combines delicious cuisine with excellent service, look no further than Granite City. It's a gem we'll certainly be returning to in the future.

We had an awesome waitress. She suggested the shrimp tacos and wow. They were so delicious. The Beer Cheese soup & Caesar Salad were also so yummy. My friend had the meatloaf, also a recommendation from our server, and was amazed how good it was. Will definitely be returning soon.

My husband and I were in town for the men's bowling tournament. We were guided to Granite City by our hotel concierge. We were fortunate to have Eric as our server. He was kind, funny, knowledgeable and adept at his trade. He answered all of our questions about the food menu and the in house brews, and his suggestions were spot on! My fish and chips were very good, my husband's ribeye was tasty (if a tad too done-not Eric's fault), our appetizer was good, and our craft brews were excellent (pomberry fuze sour for me, cosmic cow milk stout for my husband). We enjoyed our time so much that we intend to bring the entire bowling team and their spouses tomorrow night, hopefully with Eric again as our server. Big fan of Granite City and even bigger fan of Eric! Thank you for your service to our country, and may God bless you in the future.

Wanted to try out Granite City and was left confused by their service. Firstly, we did not receive the drinks we ordered. Instead we got water and did not see our waitress until after we received our food. At that point I told her to take the drinks off our tab. The waitress apologized that she forgot our drinks and insisted that she would still bring the drinks to us at no charge. Considering her generous proposal of sodas on the house, we accepted. Sike! Found out we were charged for the drinks after reviewing our receipt (even after receiving multiple reassurances that she had taken them off the bill). Secondly, review the attached photo. When we received our food I couldn’t help but just stare at the pathetic portion of sweet potato fries. It is also important to mention this side was a $2 upcharge. Won’t be returning.

We ordered a flat bread along with fish and chips. The flatbread was very good with a flaky crust. The fish was battered, not breaded, and very greasy. The chips (fries) were crinkle cut and almost perfect. There are limited options for those with a wheat intolerance. Maybe just salad and steak?

Great nightly specials on food and drinks. Monday offered $10 craft beer pitchers and $6 build your own burger (see pics) Everyone was friendly service was fast food was delicious and drinks were cold.

Our waitress was very kind and attentive even though the restaurant was packed. The precooked food brunch buffet was pretty good. The egg casserole, hashbrowns, bacon, and biscuits all were hot and tasted good. But the omelet bar was way backed up, and the server needed to have items restocked. I didn't bother to wait for an omlet. The biggest complaint from our table was about the Prime Rib Roast at the carving station. Regarding the appearance, texture, and taste, the beef was way overcooked and fell apart when the server tried to slice it. And it tasted more like a pot roast than a prime rib roast.

Good variety. Good food. One near Chicago looked alot better.
