Loved brunch. Two food stations. One with an awesome friendly omelet chef and carving station and the other from fruit and salad to sausage, bacon and Mac and cheese everything in between. Great Sunday dining experience for a first date (wink).
Welcomed and seated quickly. Food was good, maybe a tad expensive (garlic bread for a pasta dish was an 80 cent upcharge), 24 oz beer was 9.00. Tables need to be refinished, no matter how much they're wiped, they're still sticky. Could use some signage and lighting on the street side, we thought they were closed and almost didn't go in. Still a good experience.
We have not been here for brunch in a long time. We used to love it and I was looking forward to going there today. It is definitely not what we remembered. Buffet was not kept full, nor was it kept clean. They were completely out of syrup. They no longer offer cinnamon rolls. (Found out at end of meal they will bring out rolls if you ask for them) The waiter was friendly but brought drinks with little to no ice and didn’t see him to request more ice. Bathrooms were not serviced or taken care of. Honestly overall experience doe not measure up to a $23 brunch per person. The service, atmosphere or food did not warrant the tipping expectation when signing out on their credit card reader as the waiter stood over you. Granite City you can do better, I have seen it in the past
Great food and beverage, look for daily specials for a better deal. They have military discount as well.
You can bet when you find a place that has all of the elements of a great place. Great Service matched with great food with great prices. You know this place that will be on your list. We arrived at happy hour on a Thursday. We ate two appetizers and a side with a bowl of Chicken Tortilla Soup. It was not just amazing it was one of the most flavorful experiences of the year. Chris our waiter was the best, on point with his service. The kitchen was great because you saw them elevate simple food to it's best. And since we used the QR code at the table we got another $3.00 knocked off. The portion sizes were enough to send us home with something. Don't pass up this restaurant.
Stopped here to try something we hadn't tried on our way home from our anniversary getaway. The atmosphere was pleasant. We enjoyed looking in to the brewing room. Everything was clean, including the restrooms. Our server was very friendly and efficient. I tried the waffle fry nachos which had great flavor and I enjoyed the special sour cream! My husband enjoyed the $6 Monday deal cheeseburger. Great prices as well!
Granite City has always served good food. However post CoVid the service is dissapointing. I have walked in and there is no one at the counter. I had a confusing communication over the phone while placing an order, so she hung up on me. I specifically explained a food allergy and was given the allergen anyway. I have to admit the one manager ive engaged with always creates a solution, but even LeBron needs adequate team players, she has a unfortunate circumstance of managing employees with poor communication skills. The GM needs to have some training implemented and hire a professional cleaning service. The landscape of dining is constantly changing, you have to offer more than food on a plate to get support. Money is limited for many families the choice to eat out may come with a measure of sacrifice. Good service, clean environment and consistency are not unattainable goals.
Thanksgiving buffet. It was OK, but for 35 a plate, it was definitely not what I expected it to be. The Stuffing was really dry, and there was very little available. Turkey was really salty. They did have an assortment of food, but I definitely would have picked another place for Thanksgiving dinner if I knew. Service was a little slow but good as they only had to bring a soda to the table...

Excellent hotel restaurant with a changing menu and something for everyone. Each month, you can try a tour around the world of a new country with a 4-course meal. This is arguably the best restaurant in town!
We went back to celebrate our 43rd wedding anniversary, and we were not disappointed. I had BBQ Chicken Breasts, and my husband had a NY Strip Steak, and the meat was so tender! We both had baked potatoes and salad, and both of these things were ve
The Midwest food is the key to this dining bonanza. We shared an Oil Spill appetizer which is their wedge French fries in a peppered brown gravy with potroast and cheese. Fantastic! Then split 6 sliders split burger, chicken sandwiches, and pulled po
My favorite healthy place to eat in Cedar Rapids - you canât go wrong with the no coast bowl or the chana masala. Tried the spring rolls for the first time this visit (sweet potato, red cabbage and micro greens) and recommend. High quality ingredi
