It was our first time trying out Grandma Jane’s Kitchen but it won’t be our last. The food was incredible and the portions were generous! I ordered the savory chicken and waffles and it was the best I’ve had in Fresno. The waffle was fluffy, the gravy tasty, and the chicken was perfectly seasoned, fried, and juicy! We also ordered a burrito, veggie omelet, and breakfast plate from the kid’s menu. We walked outta there stuffed! We’re definitely recommending our friends and family to try it out!
My mom and sibling showed me this place and I am so glad they did! I had a Grandma Jane, which makes the experience even sweeter! The food was amazing and the menu options were unique and interesting. I got the breakfast enchiladas and they were very tasty
Great food, you can tell everything is made fresh, and if you get here too late they may run out of food, yes that is a thing since the food is fresh it's limited so make sure you get here as soon as you can too enjoy a great meal, definitely recommend
Don't let the location keep you from trying this place out. Good home cooked meal like I'm sure grandma cooked. Great food and service with a smile. Can't wait to go back and try other menu items.
Fantastic hole in the wall breakfast spot. Go early because they will pause service if they get too many orders. But trust me, it's worth it.
Step into Grandma Jane's Kitchen, a hidden gem in our city's heart. I recently experienced their OG Nachos and Lunch Burrito, and they left me breathless.
The OG Nachos were a masterpiece. Crispy tortilla chips topped with melted cheese, succulent chicken, and fresh toppings that created a symphony of flavors.
The Lunch Burrito was pure bliss. Each bite revealed tender meat, perfectly cooked rice, and a delightful blend of spices that left me craving more.
What sets Grandma Jane's Kitchen apart is the passion in every dish. You can taste the chef's love and dedication in every bite.
Don't miss this hidden gem. Visit Grandma Jane's Kitchen for an unforgettable culinary journey. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.
One of the new hidden gems in the area for 2022. I would say that this food is definitely more Latin and Southern flavor than Creole or Cajun, unlike what I read in the Fresno Bee. I ordered the Chicken and Waffles which was $15.99. The flavors were definitely what you would expect. I had a choice of going sweet or savory, I chose savory. I also ordered the tres leche French toast which was $9.99. It was definitely very delicious and very sweet, different than what you expect from a French toast that you would order. I would definitely come back, that is answer to this place, I would suggest it to anyone. My only issue is that there should have been something more to go with each dish. For $15.99 a drumstick and a breast and one waffle, something else should have come with it. Then with the French toast, it’s a slice of bread, tres leche sauce, and a few dollop of whip cream. How about a protein on the side? It was a good experience and definitely it left me wanting more. So I will come back again but will try other things.
Hole in the wall restaurants in a sketch part of town are best. The biscuits & gravy, along with the sausage were so delicious. Scrambeled eggs were a little wet. Potatoes were good, they had bell pepper and onion. Will be back soon to try the burger. Definitely recommend trying it out. Atmosphere is what you'd expect in that part of town, but the staff were very welcoming and attentive.
This place is great. The owner is a stand up guy and backs his food up with a guarantee. I believe his name was ray. The empanada was not too big but neither was the prices. I had two and it was enough. I had the chorizo and the beef empanada's and t

Burgers are 7 out of 10. Fries are 4 out of 10. They hand out too few fries for a $15 dollar meal. And the ranch was basically water. I will probably go to Triangle Burger around the corner next time. But it is definitely worth trying.
