Attended a conference for over 800 people. Excellent facilities, good food (they fed all of us sit down dinners and it was timely and well prepared.) Loved the large pool areas as well. Nice staff
Rooms still tiny, lobby way to loud, pool is great. Breakfast prices are through the roof. $19 for pancakes, $22 for 2 eggs, a meat and toast and I could go on. Still not staying here, just visiting.
Excellent Hotel, nice service, very well decorated. The pool is awesome, clean and warm. The hotel is very well prepared for handicapped people. Inside the hotel you have some shops, Starbucks and FedEx are there so if you buy stuff on internet you can send it right to the Hotel. It has some fun outside games for kids. It also have a gulf club. There are several huge conference rooms fully equipped. I personally think that it is a bit costly even for being a high level Hotel but I really enjoy my stay there so I recommend it
Horrible customer service. Personal in this hotel is poorly trained, pretty much in every department. They’re unaware of the services offered. The concierge did not know anything about the hotel. When we called to learn more through the operator they hung up on us rudely. This hotel is definitely severely lacking customer service training. I should also mention that we had the services at the spa of the Ritz Carlton and the attendants were also poorly trained.
Nice rooms but I'm in a suite. The bare minimum - e.g., no slippers, corkscrew. Get excellent room service, but disappointed at the restaurant options. Couldn't make reservations anywhere on a Sunday and concierge phone goes into voice-mail (tried three times).
This is an absolutely beautiful property. My wife and I stayed here as part of a conference. When we first arrived we were berated by the valet because we didn't want their service as we needed to self park as part of the conference. Our room was right next to the kitchen so there was constant banging and yelling coming through the wall into our room. The pool areas were very nice but the lazy river was broken. We are obviously not the type of people that typically stay at the ritz and we were treated as such. There are so many nice places to stay in Orlando, I would not choose this one.
Really nice hotel, rooms just got renovated. Staff is very nice, all restaurants are amazing. Highly recommend for families and businesses travelers.
We stayed two nights at the JW Marriott Grande Lakes (Friday & Saturday nights). It was rather disappointing on the whole. The air conditioning temperature control did not work AT ALL, so the room merely stayed at ~74* probably mostly because we were on the 16th floor, and were surrounded by other rooms. The mattresses (two queens) would have been comfortable IF the room was 72* or lower (we really wanted it to be ~68*), but they held our body heat entirely too well, so all four of us had to sleep only partially covered by a sheet, or not covered at all. My wife was hot all night and got very little sleep both nights. There were no fans (ceiling fans or otherwise) in the room either, so you couldn't just turn on a fan for a breeze. Also the bathroom had neither a lock on the bathroom door, or an exhaust fan to vent shower steam which of course exacerbated the room's (already warm) temperature. In addition to these issues, the room keys wouldn't open the doors to the pool area so each time we wanted to go there, we had to wait for someone else to open the door for us or hunt down hotel personnel to get the gates opened. I even went back to the lobby and told them our keys didn't work on the gates to the pool area, and they "reprogrammed" our keys, but.... you guessed it... they STILL didn't work. On the positive side, the room TV was relatively large, with decent cable, and the food that we tried there was good, but the drinks were WAY overpriced (roughly double what any quality restaurant charges)... ie. $4 sweet tea, and $15 for a ~6oz margarita. A 2oz. pour of Monkey Shoulder was listed at $18, and George T. Stagg was listed at $90. LOL. So do your wallet a favor, and dine elsewhere. Considering the cost (~$300/night) it was NOT what I was expecting, so I'm giving it only two stars, and that rating is exclusively because of the "lazy river" and other amenities they offer.

I really can't say enough great things Nona Cross Fit. Kim did a great job matching me with somebody for training, which I did on a one-on-one basis. Justyn took time to understand my goals and designed a program with the right amount of challenge to
