BEWARE of this hotel. As soon as you check in, you are told to "validate" your parking. What they actually set you up for is a meeting to discuss a time share. Even though we were upfront and told them several times that we are not interested and would pay to park instead, they FORCED us to sign up for this meeting. We didn't go because we are not interested in a time share at ALL and then we get a notice stating we could be charged for not going to the meeting that we didn't want to schedule in the first place. My second issue is that we reserved a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom hotel room for the 5 of us that were staying. We came in two separate vehicles but they only allow one parking pass. If we rented a regular room then this would be understandable, but since we got a 2 bedroom, the second parking pass should be accommodated. The room itself was decent besides the master bathroom toilet being backed up and not working correctly. You also have a wide open shower with no curtain or door so the floor gets soaked and the cold air comes in the shower. Last, the location was good. We had a bottom floor room with a little porch leading to the pool and the beach so at least the view was nice. We stay in or around Daytona at least once or twice a year. Sometimes its just the four of us, sometimes we bring my in laws, and sometimes we have family reunions at the beach so we are always looking for big rooms to stay together. Unfortunately, due to their high pressure sales tactics and trying to scam us with a time share, we will never stay here again or recommend this hotel to our friends and family. We will be watching our credit card statement for any surprise charges as well.

The security guard watching the pool is too much, no reason for a security guard! He walks around and watches people like they’re doing something wrong. People are supposed to be able to enjoy the pool and beach not be watched by a man in black. The jacuzzi bath tub is small. The average person can get in without putting water all over the floor. Too much furniture in the rooms. No balcony so you can enjoy watching the waves. Too many people painting and walking around with very little work being done. The guy wouldn’t take no for an answer when we didn’t want to sit through a timeshare review. When we finally said yes the next day the lady wouldn’t let us do it because they wanted to talk to the senior not the JR. when the reservation clearly said JR! Wouldn’t let you have the drink or cooler by the pool because they want you to buy their over priced drinks. No freedom to enjoy your time.

This is a big disappointment. The staff was rude and not helpful at all. I requested a certain floor for my room 2 months or more in advance and reassured I would get this fulfilled and did not. Instead I was put right outside the maid's supply room and was kept up the first two nights of my stay. I confirmed a 7 night stay and left after day 3 due to the noise. Do not recommend.

I’m a single Mom and took my young sons (ages 12 and 9) here for our first “solo” vacation. I made sure to set appropriate expectations prior to our arrival because I knew most of the area resorts are still recovering from the hurricanes of 2022. The Grand Seas by Exploria Resorts is taking the appropriate steps to remodel and renovate all accommodations. The majority of the rooms are oceanfront, with floor-to-ceiling windows. The one downside is that none of the upper level rooms have balconies, so you don’t have an opportunity to feel that nice ocean breeze unless you are on the first floor. The resort is currently renovating all outdoor accommodations. When complete there will be two pools (North and South), a Tiki bar, hot tub, and direct beach access. The South pool and brand new beach access ramp are currently open for use. The pool is quite large and can accommodate about 80 people at max capacity. The pool deck is adorned with brand new furniture including tables, chairs, umbrellas, palm trees, and other appropriate foliage. The Tiki bar renovation is nearing completion. The North pool renovations will likely start once the Tiki bar is completed. Once completed, the North pool will feature a zero-depth entry access point as well as multiple built-in seating areas so you can relax in the water without having to hold onto the edge of the pool. There will also be a new hot tub for relaxing after a long day in the sun.|If you aren’t interested in using the outdoor facilities, or if the weather isn’t cooperating, you can make use of the indoor pool, hot tub, arcade, or newly refurbished fitness center. There’s something for everyone, including on-site laundry facilities. There’s even an app you can download (Clean Pay Mobile) so you don’t have to worry about purchasing a prepaid card or fiddling with cash/coins like you would at other area laundromats. |The resort provides guests with beach towels, so you don’t have to worry about packing your own. There is 24-hour security on site, including cameras throughout the resort. There is a security guard that patrols the pool deck to ensure only resort guests are utilizing the facilities. You are permitted to bring guests, but they must register with the front desk for safety and security. All rooms are accessed with resort wristbands that must be worn at all times while utilizing resort amenities (again, for safety and security). |The resort is directly across the street from the Bellair Plaza which boasts multiple dining options as well as a Publix grocery store and a Walgreens. Anything you might need for your trip is a short walk from your room.|If you are looking for a clean, family-friendly resort with nice amenities and beautiful views, I definitely recommend the Grand Seas by Exploria Resorts.

New Exploria Resort Owner and it was my first stay in Dayton resort. I highly recommend it. Great staff and very friendly. I am glad I got this timeshare and my guest liked it so much I referred them. They signed up and will be scheduling an Orlando presentation soon.

Online menu for their Cafe is not accurate. It shows salmon and lobster rolls. They don't have anything remotely close to that lol so that was disappointing. They're doing construction which limited our pool time because if everyone having to crowd into one pool. Game room thing was kind of a joke. Kinda silly that the ocean facing rooms don't have balconies.

Looking for a quiet location to take the family? Look no further. This gem has direct access to a quiet beach. We used the outdoor pool, which was very clean. The indoor pool was never crowded. The rooms have full kitchens and there is a shopping center directly across the street. Don't want to cook? You can grab a bite at the cafe in the lobby.

We had a full kitchen with every thing you need to cook a meal. Saving some money on eating out so we could do more activities. Had to call maintenance once for the tub drain..they were prompt and took care of the issue in about 10min from the time we notified them. We wanted to take a night walk on the beach but they closed access to pool and beach at 9pm. Other than that we had a great time. The staff was very friendly saying good morning..afternoon..evening every time you saw them. Thanks to all the staff for a pleasant and welcoming vacation.

Sadly we didn't have the pool this year like normal due to the hurricane damage from last year. But the walk to the beach wasn't bad and we could drive and park near the entrance. Anyways, we've been coming here for 5yrs now.. I love the place. Great

This place is the best. If you have kids they can play in the courtyard. Where else can you play in luxurious grass right by the ocean. We were here the week of Halloween in unit 12. We carved pumpkins and put them outside our door. We flew kites. No
