We love staying at Grand Rivers Inn during the summer months while boating! You do have to keep in mind that it is an inn in the middle of Kentucky, so it’s understandably a little outdated, but it’s made for many core memories through the years! The location is ideal, as it neighbors a grocery and liquor store, is right across the street from the town bar, and it’s just a sidewalk away from Craig’s Icecream & Burgers (oh and Patti’s- that’s like the most important thing, duh!!!!). They also have a swimming pool to cool off in. The owners keep the rooms clean for the most part, and the beds are actually SUPER comfortable- I always get a great night’s sleep when we stay! It’s only a 2-3 minute drive via golfcart to Green Turtle Bay marina, so it’s super convenient if you’re docking your boat there. My only issue is there are often spiders that will find their way in the rooms, but you’ll find that anywhere in the area, so it’s not necessarily their fault. There is no online booking, so you need to call if you want to reserve a room. However, you can see each type of room and the rates they go for per night on their website. The prices are very reasonable, and the nicer rooms aren’t much of a price difference from the regular ones! If you have a group of 4+, I 100% recommend staying at one of their Queen Bedded Houses they offer, it’s worth the price. There is no daily room service, so you need to take your trash out in the mornings, but they will bring you new towels if you request them. The owners are friendly, and we’ve yet to have a bad experience here. Overall, a great place that’s affordable and convenient!

This place wasn’t on my radar, however I am so glad that we found it. We will be staying here every single time we come down this way. I love it my wife loves it, it’s just a family feeling when you’re there. A+ review and 5 Stars forsure. Good job guys keep it up.

Nothing fancy but a great place to stay if you are in the area. Staff is friendly and helpful. Golf cart rentals on site if you are interested. Pool looked nice. Motel style rooms or cabins available at very reasonable prices. Book early if your stay is during a holiday as rooms fill up fast.

AWESOME! Quaint and rustic in a storybook setting with attentive owners and central location. Great place if you dont mind dated furnishings and such. Overall, it was very clean, and the heated pool was great. (The pool was really clean and set up nice for kids) They also rent golf carts at reasonable rates. Definitely plan to return to this hidden gem.

Very clean, nice kitchenette, great pool area with hot tub. The proprietor is a hard worker, very friendly and accommodating. Location is convenient. Though older buildings they have been well kept and refurbished.

We have stayed here many times and would not stay anywhere else. This motel is not new nor fancy, but even better it is clean, friendly and comfortable. The pool is the best! Golf cart rental and ping pong is also available. Support the locals. They work so hard to make your stay memorable.

I've been staying at the Grand Rivers Inn for over 20 years. I've stayed in almost every room and cabin at some point in time. Everything is always clean from the beds to the towels. The pool is also very nice. Very close to LBL and you can walk across the street to the grocery if you need anything for your stay. The manager is always available and is a great person!!||||Other guests, regardless of where you stay, can add to or subtract from your visit.||Traveling Etiquette of being respectful to others while staying anywhere is becoming a lost art.

I came to Grand Rivers for work expecting to leave the same day but was held over and needed accommodations. This was close and convenient so I got a room. It’s so clean! There isn’t much going on in downtown Grand Rivers on a Wednesday night in May so I walked to the pool and the owner (Ms. Veronica) was relaxing with a friend and engaged me. We had a great convo for a while. Later on as I was getting ready for bed Ms. Veronica tapped on my door and returned my company credit card that I’d left on the counter as I was checking in. Y’all, this is a nice, clean place to stay with a very nice and honest owner. I can’t say enough good about it. OH and it has a nicely heated pool with a shower/bathroom house. Stay here guys. It’s great.
