Grand Oaks Resort - Resort hotel in Weirsdale - 3000 Marion County Rd, USA

We had my husband's retirement celebration at Grand Oaks a couple of weeks ago, it was fabulous! Joyce and Rikki and the Grand Oaks staff were great to work with and thought of everything to make sure the night went smoothly. The venue is beautiful and the event room perfect! We had about 150 guests. Some guests stayed on property and enjoyed the accommodations throughout the weekend. I would definitely use Grand Oaks for future events!

Wife and I visited GO's several years ago in our motorhome. The atmosphere was great. Relaxing and memorable. Several years later we stayed in the "Shangra L" park model trailer. At the time it was decent. Interior clean and comfortable. Thie past March, we stayed in the same unit and found the interior again, decent. The exterior on the other hand was in two words; deplorable and unacceptable. Photos I have showed broken and missing skirting, hanging downspouts and gutters. Filthy porch and trailer exterior. The unit next to ours had weeds sprouting from the gutters. To top it off, the entrance door could not be locked from the outside. For $380 I expected more. I even would have expected a response from the general manager. As yet my email has gone unanswered. Don't walk around the grounds near any of the stables as the owners/trainers get upset seeing a camera or people looking around. A response would be nice. Not here but at our contact info as given at reservation time.

This is an absolutely STUNNING venue! The facilities are a 10. Love showing here! Love staying here! Everything is gorgeous, perfectly manicured, 5 minutes to everything too. Great staff, super accommodating and friendly!!!

Very unique experience, camping in a Horse Resort, horse owners come here with their horses to spend the winters, Nice folks, our next door neighbor was from Ontario, and were very pleasant and informative !|Maintenance guy was very nice to talk to and answered any questions we had. Park is supposedly updating its WIFI to fiber optics, the current set up could not be found even being able to see the repeating tower 200 yards away. Onsite restaurant that was also used by locals, good food at a fair price.

The Grand Oaks Resort is the equestrian based resort I have ever seen. It is designed for horse lovers to be able to bring their horses and carriages and ride around the grounds.|Best kept secret near Wierdale, FL, just beautiful grounds.Thier RV pads are great and their staff is very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be coming back here as we travel through this area.

This rating is not in reference to the accommodations of this property. We went to a gun show on this property and the directions were poorly marked so it was difficult to find the building. When we DID get to the correct place, it was a disappointment. Will not go back.

We like eating there during the week in the afternoons. Beautiful setting and usually quiet. We used to go on Sundays, but they never had enough help, or the manager just didn't care.

Traveling with carriage horses or horses - this is a wonderful location for you and your horse. Nestled among Grandfather oak trees with wonderful trails to explore. A pool, the Bistro and lots of housing options. Enjoy your stay - we did!
