Staff was really great, The location is really great, Breakfast was good for the most part, but the scrambled eggs were so bad that we could not eat but a small bite. The attendant in the breakfast area was very helpful and nice. Beds are obviously old. Both beds leaned down at the head end and we had to prop it up with pillows under the mattress so we didn't feel like the blood was running to our heads. The AC ran all night and hardly cooled the room. Every time it cycled off there was a boom that woke me up several times during the night. The price quoted on their website was really off of what I was charged. I looked at the final bill and found that there is a " Service Fee" of 28%. So, the rate of $199.00 sounded acceptable for a no frills room (2 queen beds with no extras) until they added a "service fee" of $31.84, and the Occupancy Tax of $23.88. So the rate of $199. turned into $254.72. I don't know what a "Service fee" includes, but had I known of the final total I would not have selected this hotel unless all of the hotels in this area have a similar 28% "Service Fee". Probably going to use the mattress in the van more often:) The view was great, and the restaurant was really good with fair prices. Had it not been for the bed, ac problem, and the high service fee I would have given the hotel at least four, and possibly five stars. The staff at the front desk are fantastic and extremely helpful.

BED BUGS. We noticed this when we got home. We need to file a complaint with the local health department. Black mold in the shower. We had 10 rooms ($5k) for our group and everyone else was disappointed with black mold in the bathrooms and overall musty odor in each room. Two people in our group had house keeping walk into their rooms without knocking. Called the hotel and the staff said there are not bed bugs in the room. No compensation for contaminated belongings. No refund. No help whatsoever. Stayed 8/23 - 8/25; Feel free to reach out to make this right.

We received a very warm welcome from the front desk employee who checked us in and was very informative and helpful. The room had a bad smell and there was a bottle cap and some food on the carpet next to one of the beds. Otherwise the room was clean and a very nice size for us (3 adults, 2 kids). The waterpark was a lot of fun, the kids had a blast. A lot of the structures were rusted and old-looking but that didn't take away from the fun we all had. Unfortunately we were not there for the days the Kidz Klub was open, it looked like a lot of fun. The arcade was great, and I wish we would have had time to try the laser tag they have.|Breakfast was included in the price which is unusual and really nice!

I would definately not come back here. One of the hot tubs is out of order, one of the pools is closed, there is a million locals in here and they pay $5 on Mondays. Place smells like pi$$ and as i sit here watching my kids try and find a tube that isn't flat to go down a slide the locals to my right have 2 tubes stacked up with their legs on them and about a dozen more sitting at tables being guarded after I paid nearly $300 for a d@m room and everything. It's like someone gave the trailer park boys and their wives a free pass on Mondays. Rooms smell bad and are extremely outdated. Carpet feels like wax paper they haven't been shampooed in so long. Beds are wore right out and sheets have permanent stains on them. AND WE GOT A KING SUITE. Hair inside the sheets of the bed. Hairs in the tub/shower. I'm really considering leaving and losing out the money and going to the holiday inn express i was at a week ago and it was nice. Only reason this is even getting a 2 star is because the young woman at the front desk is extremely nice...

I'm not making excuses, but after covid(?) every facility is struggling. The hotel is run down. The water park is very rusty and the extra spray things were not working. We did not get maid service. The water in bathtub would not turn off completely. No fan in the bathroom. The air conditioner in the room could not be set on constant fan so it turns on and of all night long. If you want ice it's only available on 3rd and 7th floors. The breakfast was very nice only you must clean and wash your own table if you want to sit at a table after someone else used it. With all these negatives, I had 4 children with me and all they wanted to do is have fun which they did. Adults will notice a lot of issues, but not the children.

Our room was clean-ish but did not have our pack and play we requested. No silverware or handsoap. Staff seemed to be happy and polite but not to on top of things. There are no phones in the rooms, I had to go down to the desk 2x to ask for my pack and play. The AC didn't work well. It didn't cool down until early morning. We went to the water park, and my son had a blast. Staff were nice, the facility as a whole needs touched up, things seemed rusted, and not cosmetically upkept. We enjoyed how close it was to several restaurants since the restaurant in the hotel was not able to seat us due to the staff seeming flustered. I'm not sure if they were short staffed or what happened. They were just not welcoming or had any idea of what was going on.

I was worried about previous reviews, but decided to stay and form my own opinion. Am I glad I did! Were the rooms a bit outdated? Yes. Were they clean? Also yes! We wanted to stay somewhere that offered fun for our little guy and this hotel did not disappoint. He had a blast at the water park and arcade, and we ate dinner at the Tony Roma's with a great view of the river. Hotel staff was nice, and the complimentary breakfast was great.

We stayed four nights with a group of travelers. The reception area looks like the check-in for the water park--it is not. Front staff not welcoming. Facilities and rooms average. Soda machine on 6th floor did not work. Front desk says hotel does NOT service the machine. I should come down to the lobby. I called the number on soda machine which referred me to another number for servicing. Is anyone in charge? Room never cleaned while we were there--towels remained on bathroom floor, paper baskets overflowed until i caught staff in the hall cleaning rooms. Slow to refund the $50 charge for "incidentals." Room cost high due to added "Service fee" $22.24/da and $16.68/da "Occupancy Tax."

Our experience was amazing, they were all so accommodating. We had a mishap in our room and a wine bottle broke. They don’t have bell boys and the person to help clean it was the receptionist at the front desk. She offered to clean it for us which

Been trying to get here for years, and was finally able to make-it when they're open. LOTS of options (from sandwiches, to meats, to prepared meals), all seemed very reasonably priced. It's not a big place, but they pack a lot into the small space (
