Grand Gables Inn - Bed & breakfast in Palatka - 603 Emmett St, USA

Absolutely gorgeous! We were traveling north from Tampa and were looking for a place to spend the night, when my mom found this place. The rest of us didn't know what to expect, so when we pulled up, we were absolutely amazed by the grandeur of the building. It was nighttime, and all the Christmas lights were on, so it just beautiful. Far more breathtaking was the interior, though. As we stepped in, the intricate decorations and luxurious style of the house just blew us away. As we explored more of the house when making our way up to the second floor to our rooms, we just got more and more impressed. It felt like time travel, honestly. Mr. Tate and Mrs. Jessie were also very kind and welcoming, and he truly completed our stay by offering us a guided tour of the house, as we were the only ones staying there. The food was good too and Mrs. Jessie is very sweet. I highly recommend for anyone to experience this if only for one night. Thanks you so much for everything!!

Beautiful older home converted to B&B. I had private bath & nice bed. Because I'm gluten free, breakfast choice limited to scrambled eggs. Not a favorite, but it was a good sized serving. Close to river. Adequate parking. Would like to have seen more, but got there at after midnight, and was in hurry to leave so didn't tour. Probably just lovely.

We went to the Grand Gables Inn overnight for our 56 wedding anniversary. The place is absolutely gorgeous. When we pulled up to the Inn the view was outstanding. We had the large suite downstairs, included Pauline’s parlor nice size bedroom, huge bathroom and foyer. The decor was amazing I love old houses and the Inn had a lot of character. Tate and Jesse were super houses. We were given the grand tour of the entire house. I was mesmerized by the rooms, decor, antiques and the history of the Inn. I would stay there again.

This is a hidden gem!!! We were looking for a place to our wedding. when I first saw this place, it I was perfect for our wedding. we rented the whole place for the weekend. The architectural design and the beauty of the place is magnificent. Every body thought the place was stunning at Christmas time. The Inn keeper Tate was great! The place was beautiful for our wedding

A friend of mine stayed here for a couple of nights while in town to do some bike riding. Although I didn’t stay there, I did get to tour the B&B. You could feel the history walking into every room. Very clean very well maintained high ceilings, pedestal beds. Antique tubs with feet in most of the rooms. The whole place was decorated very very nicely with period type furniture.

Thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay, just a couple hours from home. A gorgeous venue, very hospitable, and such attention to detail. As a quick getaway with the husband, we couldn't have asked for more. Would return in a heartbeat.

I needed to visit Palatka for a funeral and was so pleased to find the Grand Gables B&B. The house is absolutely beautiful and my room was very comfortable. Tate and his daughter are so very thoughtful, taking care to meet all my needs; even accommodating a very late arrival. I heartily recommend staying there.

Stayed there Christmas night after midnight Mass. Nice room, private bath, bit short (it's old building with antique furniture) outlets, but comfy bed. Celiac, so breakfast menu limited, but not short on food. Nice!
