Grand Floridian Cafe - Cafe in Orlando - 4401 Floridian Way, USA

We got to the table and were greeted by a wonderful waitress. Very friendly and knowledgeable. When I awkwardly asked for something that I had seen in a video she knew what I was talking about. It wasn't on the menu. I highly recommend the Strawberry Soup. So good. I also got the chicken and waffles. Has a little kick to it but isn't overwhelming. Everyone loved what they ordered, so you can't go wrong.

If you like everything covered in fancy bacon this is the place for you. My parents got fried chicken that was cover in a bacon sauce with mashed potatoes. My brother had a pork chop with bacon something. I had a burger with a chunk of fried cheese and bacon jam. It was delicious. The atmosphere was great and I loved the building. My mom was bothered her chicken tasted more like bacon than chicken but I liked it.

Wonderful! Everything about this restaurant was incredible. The food, the service, the atmosphere… simply fantastic. I highly recommend the chicken and waffles!

Grand Floridian Café is located on the first floor of the Grand Floridian Resort. The restaurant is at the back of the main building which offers views of one of the pool areas and other buildings on the grounds. It is a bright and open space with an ambiance similar to The Plaza Restaurant in The Magic Kingdom, but much larger. The service on my visit was excellent and the food was all fresh and prepared as ordered. I had the Reuben, which was great, and my daughter enjoyed the Mickey Waffle.

Amazing resort and hotel 🏨. The moment you step in the door and you see the inside and outside , to me it reminds me of a hotel from France 🇫🇷. Great building , amazing staff with great customer service overall. They have plenty of parking 🅿️. They also a monorail 🚝 system that takes to the theme park snd back to the resort . They also have a massive lake in the back of the resort . With that being said , they also a boat 🛥️ service that can take you to the theme park as well . They have a few restaurants inside the resort . I will say this make sure you go to the grand Floridian cafe because the restaurant in my option was not that great . I ordered the Mickey waffle 🧇 with 🥓 and sausage and had a coke with it 🥤. The food was soooooo yummy and since I am a disney pass holder I got a discount on my food . The reason why I gave it a 4/5 is for two reasons . One ☝️ of the waitress was extremely rude to me and when I asked her a water she treated me badly and it was over water . I think she was just lazy and didn’t want to get me a water . Like a I said overall the staff was great but you always have idiots like this women and a few other bad apples 🍎. The second reason was the bathrooms could have been better . The need to clean the bathrooms just a dap better . A bit pricey. Good food and great service from our server Mao.steak and eggs were good. Parking sucks!! If you are only dining and not a registered Guest, they make you park across the street from the hotel.

We’ve been coming here for generations and this has got to be the worst experience I’ve ever had here that shows just how far the Disney magic has dropped. This is a $16 plate of food. The scrambled eggs needed to be cut with a knife. The sausages must have been left under some heat lamp for hours. The bacon was soggy. There is nothing ‘Grand’ about this food and Disneys full show of greed here serving motel 6 buffet quality food says a lot about them as the company they are today. What happened to the quality? What happened to the prestige? It’s gone, we accept this utter garbage they charge a fortune for so they continue to feed it to us and each year they lower the standards knowing they can get away with it. This used to be a magical experience - we’ve been coming here for 30+ years and have seen the absolute decline in their care for paying guests in the hunt for profit. There is no magic here. Just corporate greed.

I think it's my last time here. Came for my bday and I'm so disappointed. From parking to delayed check in. The ambiance, food and service. There's better spots to spend your money at. . . . . Such a beautiful cafe, love breakfast here! They didn't have my favorite apple tea but the coffee was delicious. Our server, Sarah made our experience memorable. The food was really good although the presentation for my husband steak and eggs was a bit underwhelming. Besides that everyone as really good even the arugula and cress salad.
