A very cool place in downtown. Excellent coffees, and if you want to try some unique coffee blends they have a number of wildly cool option for mixed coffee drinks using things like coconut cream, Yerba mate, horchata, cacao and other to make make watering drink. Combine that with one of their housemate empanadas, or sweet treats and it makes for a great morning to relax down by the river. 100% recommend!!

This is a very unique place. Both the coffee and chocolate are made from very good quality ingredients. Personally I was not a fan of the Afogatto. It's usually made with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, topped with an espresso shot. Instead of an ice cream scoop, they use a vanilla ice cream bar. It's just not the same experience as you really couldn't eat/drink them together. If you like very strong coffee and espresso drinks, maybe give it a try if you are looking for something very different than chain store options. If you are looking for a sweet Starbucks type drink, don't come here. Having said that, the service is very friendly and professional. They clearly care about both the quality of their product and the comfort of their customers. Don't miss the incredible view of the river in downtown outback from the Adirondack chairs and hammocks.

Grand Central is a gem! You will find high-quality, ethically-sourced chocolates, coffees, other treats, and artisanal goods from around the world, as well as incredibly friendly, helpful staff. I have found many one of a kind gifts for family and friends here. I must say, the view of the Petaluma River from Grand Central is breathtaking and the hammocks for customers to enjoy makes it one of my favorite places to spend a sunny afternoon. You won’t regret checking this place out!

Friendly staff giving amazing recommendations! Outdoor seating area is right in the water. Watch all the paddle boat, stand up paddle boarders, and ducks while enjoying your coffee and popsicle.

I have to change my first review of this place! I spent a lot of time there during our holiday in Petaluma. So we loved this place! Amazing coffe, esp capuccino, best cookies and tasty empanadas. Thank you staff for everything and for your kindness. 💛 And it is best place for kids in the city with coffe- outside is really friendly with toys. 😌

Super happy to discover Grand Central! They add cocoa nibs to their mocha, delicious. The pastries and empanadas I’ve tried so far have been fantastic. I’ve taken my whole family there already, great spot :D. They also have community events, we went to a wellness event last weekend - great vendors, great atmosphere. Not just a coffee shop - a gathering space by the river!

Tasty coffee. Empanadas are their specialty food. Other pastries available. Coffee beans for purchase and local jams and soaps. Outside and indoor seating. Outdoor seating is covered/umcovered or open adoranak chairs overlooking river. Hammocks available too. Children's play toys available for use while adults enjoy their coffee. Pet friendly outside. Laid back.

Natalie and Juan Carlos have fashioned a marvellous space for community, food, coffee, and connection right here on our Petaluma River! Stopping by for coffee and empanadas has quickly become one of my favourite rituals before catching the train, which is just a couple minutes away by foot. Their espresso drinks really have a different, richer flavours than any other place I’ve been to, I think by virtue of the effort they put into sourcing ingredients. I hope this sweet spot stays here for many years to come!
