Granada Ocean Resort - Resort hotel in Wildwood Crest - 8801 Atlantic Ave, USA

We stayed over labor day weekend, and were extremely happy with our stay! The staff was always so nice and welcoming and never made it feel we were inconveniencing them with any questions or requests. The cleaning staff came daily and it was always nice to come back to the room clean room and fresh towels. We were right on the beach, and everything was still I believe reasonably priced! The only issue I had was that the beds were not very comfortable, but we will still be staying here again!

We arrived early and were allowed to park in the lot prior to check in. The woman working the check in desk was very nice, and accommodating. They called to let us know the room was ready 3 hours early, which was awesome and allowed us to get everything inside so it didn't have to sit in the hot car all day. We paid extra for an oceanfront room, but I don't recommend doing this, and we won't be doing that again. The rooms are smaller than the other rooms and the patios outside your door with tables and chairs are open to all other rooms....you pay extra for nothing. It's really weird to open your door to use the table right outside your room and then find a family from a cheaper room, eating dinner and enjoying the view that you paid for. The website said nothing about this, so you don't find this out until after you pay for everything. The parking spots are so narrow that I had to let my family out of the car before pulling in to a parking spot. Our car has a couple new dents/scratches now because of it, so be careful where you park and who you park next to here. The pool area is clean and inviting. Overall, the only complaint I would have is the decks/balconies for the ocean front rooms not being private...its super weird that people can sit and hang out just a few feet from your door, and enjoy what you thought you were paying extra for. The rest of the place was well kept, mostly clean and the staff is very friendly.

This is our second time staying at the Granada in Wildwood Crest. The first time was two years ago, and we had a good experience. This year we returned and had an even better time!! The owners have updated some of the amenities as well as their outdoor patio and cooking sets, and our family thoroughly enjoyed making use of them. The pool is off towards the front of the property, right by the entrance to the beach, and there is plenty of seating and even some shade. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool. It was clean and the surrounding area well kept. They also had a cleaner cleaning every patio area every morning. One of my favorite things about the Granada is the speaker/sound system and music playing through out the day. It doesn’t turn on until after 10am and it is never too loud or annoying. It really gave the atmosphere a boost. Our kids enjoyed jumping in the pool singing along to some of their favorite tunes. The owners are great people who seem to care very much about their property and it’s clear they take pride in it. Their garden is absolutely beautiful. We will absolutely be back!

We had a great time. Right next to the beach! The room was nice and had a good view. I was pleasantly surprised that the sofa bed was in very good working condition. The air conditioner worked well. We had a decent kitchenette with a good refrigerator. The refrigerator looked like it was fairly new. The pool area was clean and orderly. There were grills fairly close to the pool area. So that area smelled like a tasty barbecue sometimes! We've been to other places in Wildwood, and this has been the best so far. The service is very good here. We were told several times that they were available 24/7. It was close to a small restaurant that we frequented. We traveled with five people total. It was enough room for all of us. I would return to this place, and recommend that you give it a try.

Nice little motel right off the beach. Follow path right down to the beach. Room was small but perfect for our family. 3 grills on site for everyone to use and a pool also on the grounds. Overall pleased and would stay here again

Our family had a great time staying at the Granada. It was nice having the beach right there, not having to walk too far, and the pool was definitely a plus for the kids. They had rather be at the pool than the beach. I gave the overall rating 4 stars. The only thing we weren't satisfied with was the room. They don't have air conditioning throughout the entire thing. It's only in the bedroom. We had to leave the door open every night in order for it to feel nice in the front room. It would get pretty warm. The rooms were mostly used towards the night when the kids needed to go to bed. It would be great if they had a 2 bedroom option for privacy since we ended up taking my mom with us. She had rather have her own private space. We used to stay in the Stone Harbor/Avalon area, and many places had that option. Overall, it was a nice stay, quiet, no one bothered you. Service was great, location great. I should've asked for the ocean view room. It was definitely a site from up top of the balcony. Maybe next time. We picked a great week to go. The weather was pretty decent.

We’ve stayed here a lot of times. One time in 2018, one time in 2022, and we’re about to stay here on August 10th. Each time, we were amazed by the quality of the service offered to us. Super easy to book (on the phone and online), the location is perfect (right on the beach), the rooms are the perfect size (not too big, not too small). If you want a big room you can book the ones directly facing the beach and they’re equally as good as all the other ones. Kathy at the front desk is super accommodating and sweet. Also, there are little booklets at the front desk proposing a bunch of different activities you can do in Wildwood (especially for those of you with kids). The pool is amazing especially because it’s overlooking the beach (kid/baby pool, hot tub, teen/adult pool). Oh! There are also activities they offer which are very entertaining and fun! The barbecue is very useful, and the laundry rooms situated on each floor are extremely useful. It’s extremely clean, and the room cleaners get their job done really well! One year my daughter had brought her plushies and the room cleaner organized them so well on the bed! Such a pleasant surprise (it made my daughter’s day). Also, for the price, it’s amazing! Looking at all of these positive reviews, I don’t know what you’re waiting for! Go book now before the rooms are all sold out (they go super fast)!!! You will not regret it!

this place is great! my first time staying here, owners are SO nice, rooms were clean and comfy, and the proximity to the beach really makes this place top tier! 10/10 would stay again!
