Grain Theory was a great place for lunch. It was not busy at all at 11:15 am and it was never busy during my time there until 12:30 on Friday.
It is a modern brewery pub with long picnic style seating throughout. It looked like there were a few places where you could have a 'private' table but for most of the seating, don't plan on a private conversation. They have balcony seating as well.
I hear the beer here is really good but I personally can't speak about that. The fish and chips were really good. The batter was more crunchy than flaky but the flavor was great. The chips were really good as well. The food was ready very quickly...but like I said before, there weren't many people there.
I would recommend going and trying the fish and chips. I would eat it again.
Great place we found just searching Google maps. Wish I had one of these in my town. Monday night football nacho bar was a cool touch, nachos were good and reasonably priced. Cappuccino was great! Frites were really good! Staff was very accommodating! Great place, I’ll be back. Beer, coffee and food - The trifecta!
Grain Theory has great food and drinks. The battered fish is super good. I enjoy sitting on the patio for the view. Family friendly and has great options.
Grain Theory has it all figured out…great vibe, friendly staff, tasty beer and excellent food. Won’t be driving around Abilene in the future, but stopping downtown!
Hazy IPA was crisp and hoppy, Kolsch very traditional and tasty, and the food was outstanding! Pork cooked perfectly with a variety of good sauces, sprouts were crispy with great glaze, her fish was crispy outside, flaky in, and the fries were best we’ve had in some time.
Nothing theoretical…GT is the answer.
Current: Tried their burger and it was juicy and flavorful. The frites were under seasoned and hard. The staff was kind.
Good fish and chips, purple haze is amazing, but the fries are often a hard chewy texture.
Clean place. 9 days into October, they have no Octoberfest. They sold out, how awesome is that. My favorite was the Black pils. One beverage called Brite berry is exactly like Welsh grape.
Fabulous find in Abilene - beer, wine, food, and coffee! Artisan jams and aiolis pair with the food offerings and there is even sous vide steak frites! If you’re local, the Beer Ambassador (free beer for life) would be a worthwhile investment in a small business that takes their beer making seriously!
Stopped here on a road trip to try their brewery. The barista gave me 4 suggestions to try for their flight of 4 Oz samples. They were all great. I look forward to the next time I’m passing through to try again.
Glad I waited for it to open while driving through Abilene. I ordered the three meat plate and the portions were huge! Great brisket (top five for me), New Mexico Christmas sausage was great and turkey was just ok. Will skip the turkey and try the r
I didnât even know what jiu jitsu was when I walked into the doors of Zombie over a year ago! This place completely changed my life for the better and provided me with a jiu jitsu family. Supportive, family friendly learning environment to better y
Very professional, patient-friendly, informed of each step of procedure. Facility was very clean, priority of patient privacy was given to each. Highly recommend vs other facilities encountered.
I loved being able to see my progress. It helped keep the workout interesting and motivated me to push a little harder. Analyzing post workout was also great to see that your hard work paid off. The coaches are interested in how you are performing. T
They staff is so nice. We went today and there was a long line but it went fast. The ladies are so friendly and she even gave my son a little bag of donut holes noo charge. Their donuts are really good and they have so many options.
Stopped overnight here with 2 young kids as part of a long road trip. Everything was perfectly clean & very comfortable, staff were kind. I've had issues getting a pack n play at other hotels in the past, but this location was wonderful about it -- I
