My son and I joined the team on Friday and our first day was yesterday ( 8/29/2023). I was a little worried about injuries and just over all nervous. I will say that the coaching, staff and current members are fantastic. It’s a really welcoming place, they introduce you to the members and get you paired with knowledgeable coaches. I went to all other BJJ gyms, hands down the best on this side of town. Update: Were are two months into our membership and now my daughter has joined. Cant say enough, great gym. The professor is the best, great with Children. Dont hesitate, join the family !

This isn't a 5 star gym it's a 10 star gym. Professor Arnaldo is an excellent teacher to children and adults. His patience and knowledge make it so enjoyable to learn . I have a teenage son on the spectrum , who's never enjoyed or wanted to play sports. Professor has worked wonders for him , we're in class 5 days a week loving everyday. This is an outstanding gym !!!!!! Come check it out and hit the mats with us !

I've been training here since opening for about 2 years. If you are looking to get fit, learn some self-defense, or are looking for a new hobby I couldn't recommend this place enough. Professor Arnaldo is an excellent teacher/coach and creates an environment that allows for beginners to learn and progress from a solid foundation of basics. The people here are friendly, welcoming and willing to help you learn. If you're on the fence I would definitely encourage you to stop by for a class. Thank you for what you started Professor

I recently trained at Gracie Barra Cedar Hill while I was in Dallas, and it left a lasting impression. Being a blue belt with a couple of years in BJJ, I have a good sense of what works, and this place definitely fits the bill. The atmosphere was friendly and inviting, making me feel right at home. Professor Arnaldo's attentive approach with personalized corrections showed their dedication to every student's improvement. The school's cleanliness and well-organized setup added to the positive experience. They incorporated warm-up and cool-down routines during the two sessions that I trained there. Not every school emphasizes cool downs, but I appreciated that they did. It added a thoughtful dimension to the training experience. In a nutshell, Gracie Barra Cedar Hill offers a welcoming community, hands-on coaching, clean facilities, and a well-rounded training philosophy. Highly recommended for practitioners of all levels. Shoutout Gracie Barra Cedar Hill, the gym that you’ll fall in love with. I walked in the doors back in October and immediately I was hooked. Professor Arnaldo is the best, he pushes you to be your best and always gives great instructions and thorough demonstrations. Not to mention he keeps the coffee, snacks, and juices on deck! This is the gym you want to be at, great teammates and a great atmosphere.

This is a wonderful academy! I attended classes here a few times a month as a visiting student. The instructor , Prof. Arnaldo is very knowledgeable and helpful. The classes are fun and I always learn a new skill.
