Gracie Barra Corona has an amazing staff that welcomes you right into their family almost immediately. After training Jiu jitsu for 5yrs, I can confidently say I have finally found my home. The staff is phenomenal and the energy of the team is like no other. This really is a more than a team it’s a family.
Even though the school is great as much as I would have enjoyed continuing going due to the fact work got in the way ...they make it extremely hard to cancel your classes and on top of that they charge you 2 extra months on top of that 400 bucks just because you canceled ahead of time... that's one way to lose a customer for good...one way to rob u I guess....
Brought my boys because they were being bullied at school and to say it’s helped is a understatement . Shoulda signed them up long ago . My 5 year old is a very crazy kid and they are very patient and understanding with him … when I get more money I’m gonna sign myself up and the rest of my family ahaha …
My nine year old daughter just started here a few weeks ago and we/she loves it! The coaches and staff have been so welcoming and supportive. The community of parents and kids are so kind and welcoming. Beyond that the philosophy of respect, discipline and hard work is so good for her and for us all. So happy we found this home. Highly recommend!

We decided to give this place a try based on a recommendation. Two plus years later, the whole family is enrolled. You bet we'll be enrolling the baby as early as possible. All the coaches and professors are intelligent and experienced. The Program Director, Coach Andy, is top notch professional. Highly recommend!
We really really love this facility! From the first day all the coaches and staff greeted us with our names and a welcoming smile! They are so gentle in teaching our 6 & 8 yr olds. As an added plus they teach a word of the week and really focus on a family environment. They offer parent nights out too! The kids literally run inside and get excited to train!
My daughter and son have been attending for almost a year now. Their confidence has grown exponentially & their skill sets in self defense have increased greatly. The instructors, espec. Coach Saul & Coach Kendall, are top notch, patient & work very hard with their students. They make EVERY new person - man, woman and child - feel welcome. Great spot to grab a tasty old fashioned (made with Buffalo Trace). They also make a pretty tasty charcuterie board. Great selection of whiskey, wine, & beer. There is no food menu, only appetizer sized snacks to order.

Great beginner trail. Well maintained fire road or foot paths, if you prefer. About two hours to the second flag at a leisurely pace. So many colorful flowers along the paths and great views from Prado to Lake Matthews.
