Grace Hudson Museum & Sun House - Art museum in Ukiah - 431 S Main St, USA

The museum was a pleasant surprise break in Ukiah,the Sun house did not have a curator available at the time to explore inside,but the back to the land exhibit in the museum was trippy and the Grace Hudson collection was exquisite. How she was able to catch the energy of the subjects,mostly Pomo People was mesmerizing. The gift shop sold amazing craft works from current local artists,some of which were featured in the traveling back to the land exhibit.

Hidden gem in Ukiah. Quite interesting to learn about Grace Hudson’s story and art. Also check out for any special exhibits. I was lucky enough to see on Sea weed.

Delightful museum! Learned a lot about the history of the Pomo Indians and about the works of Grace Hudson. Worth a visit if you have an hour to spare

Nice set up. Good for a few hours. Old home tour, not furnished well to tell a story. Someone put alot of work on this museum.

Seeing the kids enjoy the out door environment and a loud to access bathrooms with no stress and the staff is amazing great for business retreats

A nice place for student's field trip, the tour guide explained with such details that I almost request students to write a report.
