A beautiful park on stunning Daniel Island. There are wonderful riverviews to take in as you stroll along the many walking and biking paths the park has to offer. Baseball fields a plenty! Close to local shops and businesses on Daniel Island. Pet Friendly.

This park is spectacular! On beautiful Daniel Island. Plenty of free parking with lots of shade. Almost the entire trail is shaded. Wonderful beauty all around. We were blessed with an 80 degree November day, no humidity, and perfect cyan skies! Was a brilliant day to forest bathe. Lots of space to wander and friendly folks out and about. Dogs are welcome. Easy to bike ride the trail as well. A new family fave!

The young man at the front desk was very helpful Wednesday 9-13-23 . The visitors building was very clean and cool for my 2 y o granddaughter and I. I especially appreciate the men’s room being very clean because she needed to “go potty” . It’s rare that a public restroom is that clean in my experiences.

Stunningly beautiful on the water with majestic ancient Oak trees. Amazing place to have an oyster roast or play outside. Very well maintained.

The dog park here could use several improvements. It's a start, but still has a long ways to go. Mainly, the park has no water for the small dogs, so you have to bring your own or a bowl to fill from the large dog area. Not sure why someone would create two separate areas for small and large dogs, but think that only large dogs need water. Second, there are no trash cans in the small dog area. Once again, small dogs are similar large dogs, they poop too. It would be nice to be able to throw away the poop without having to go to the large dog area for a trash can. Third, there is no grass in the small dog area. I've never been to a dog park that doesn't have grass. My dog is always a muddy mess after leaving because the park is just dirt/mud and gravel. There's not even a place to hose him down. Lastly, there is nothing for shade until late afternoon from the highway. This place could really use a few trees or a sun shade of some sort. Besides that, it's a large fenced in area acceptable for short periods of fetch.

Well maintained trails, dog parks, sports field. I think it takes about 20 mins to walk the whole trail. Enough parking space

Dog park, skate park and open fields for kicking a ball around. Spring, summer, and fall there's a farmers market. Only thing that could make it better is lighting for after dark.
