Government Street Cottages - Hotel in Ocean Springs - 1709 Government St, USA

My husband and I spent 2 nights at Live Oak cottage and absolutely loved It. The furniture was beautiful, and everything was clean and looked recently renovated. The location was perfect for walking to shops, Walter Anderson Museum and restaurants. We enjoyed relaxing on the porch, and drinking our coffee in the morning. Property Management was excellent, and Chris let us know when the cottage was ready early on our check in day. We will definitely be returning in the future for another weekend get away.

Great location, very clean, quiet, comfortable, and nicely appointed. My husband and I spent 4 nights in Suite A of the Govt. Street Cottages and could not be happier. Walking distance to many bars, restaurants and shops. We will definitely return.

I highly recommend Government Street Cottages!!! My entire family stayed here during the weekend of my daughter’s wedding and had nothing but good things to say about the cleanliness, beautiful decor, and perfect location of the cottages. I was able to house my entire family in the 4 units available on the property. They were able to be together for the wedding weekend, but still had privacy. Perfect for out of town wedding guests!! Management was also super easy to work with and were very accommodating!!

Beautifully decorated in the heart of the Ocean Springs entertainment district. You can easily walk to all the shops and restaurants, it is extremely clean, and the property manager made the check-in process a breeze. Can’t imagine staying anywhere else during my visits. Highly recommend!

The rooms are awesome. We stayed in sweet A. It looks like it was just completely renovated. Vary clean!! Quite and plenty of places to see and easily walk to. The parking is a bit tight. But once you get parked you can walk to most everywhere.

We stayed at the Cottages for a wedding in October and they were perfect for our family! The decor is beautiful, the bed was comfortable, and everything was clean. The hamper basket in the bathroom for dirty clothes was a nice touch! I’m usually cramming dirty clothes in a tiny plastic bag! The porch was the perfect place to visit with family. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

There were many pros to this rental & only minors cons. The pros: brand new structure with pretty decor. Only a few blocks over from shopping & dining strip. Good sturdy mattress & large shower. Place also smelled great! Cons: no tv in the bedroom & only 2 sitting chairs in the front where there is a tv. No lounging or touching others:) The comfy mattress is covered in literal plastic & made me feel like a three year old. I get wanting to preserve the mattress, but they make washable covers for that. There was no body length mirror in the place, so you can't see how you look before going out...only the face matters, but not too much because there was also no vanity space to put make up, brush etc. All in all, I was only there for 2 nights, so I did survive :)

Very clean, great location, good amount of parking. It rained while we were there and the pathway to get to the parking area was such that you had to walk through 4 different places that was pouring water off the roof. The place needs gutters to solve that terrible problem. That's the reason I dropped a star
