My 3 BFFs and myself grew up going to this park in the 70s and recently began meeting there for lunch and hanging out, chatting. It looks nicer now, and it's well kept and clean. The only thing it needs is Porta-potties!
It was nice to see trees and woods, however , I feel it needs some work. I did not see any trails except for an old paved road going to the pond.
This is a wonderful Park especially if you like baseball. there is also an outstanding public swimming pool that is widely regarded as the best in town. Also there is a basketball courtas well as a concession stand for food and snacks during game time. Little-known is the hiking trails located on the left hand side upon entering the park. There is a cement block that prevents vehicles from entering where the trails are. Fantastic area for hikers in nature enthusiasts. Beware of ticks. If you bring your dog always check for ticks
Nice park, clean pool.... annoying lifeguards. They are inconsistent when it comes to rules so when they change posts, the rules change. Frustrating
Nice park with plenty of space to spread out. Visitors could help clean up after themselves and that would make it nicer.
I would say this park is very nice it does have a trail that you can walk through but it’s very overgrown from back in the day so I wouldn’t recommend it has to play skates between the school basketball court baseball fields and all the pool is pretty good too except the lifeguards are usually not friendly and that’s where my three stars come into place the Lord pool is a very awesome pool but the lifeguards like to make up their own rules especially when there is not a lot of people at the pool they like to say it’s closed or they need 30 minutes or they heard thunder when it’s sunny out I’m not sure why but other than that this park is generally good to spend a day and take a walk in bring your dog Have a casual day you can even rent the area and have a pavilion section and all would get this park a four-star all day if the lifeguard staff would be more friendlier to the residence of the town
It's a nice place to cool off and relax.
This hidden park has great potential. In the past it must have been a nice park but over many years nature is taking it back. There are still a few paths if you can find them and the abundance of creatures is great to see in East Hartford. Woodpecker, turtles, frogs, dragonflies, butterflies, and lots of evidence of beaver are wonderful findings in East Hartford.
Above average beer. It was very tasty and flavorful which should be the main reason to visit a brewery. Donât let the size of this brewery fool you. What they lack in their location size, they make up for in their beer. The âLazlo peachâ, ð
