We fell into this place by accident and so glad we did. Three of us shared mussels with white wine sauce, shrimp, bread and fries. The flavors in each dish were exquisite and had their own distinct flavor profiles. I'm a fan of highly seasoned food and everything was so good! I was especially fond of the aioli that came with the fries and the sauce that accompanied the shrimp. Two orders of bread were perfect to sop up the sauces. It helped that the shrimp came with it's own side of bread. I highly recommend this place. Wish we lived closer!

A great spot for lunch from a restaurant which you can tell has a passion for food. We found this place by chance when the restaurant we were going to go to was closed for a special event. The atmosphere is fun and unique. The wait staff were very friendly but there were not very many of them so the service was slow. The ingredients were fresh and full of flavor and were different than what I am typically used to. I was told by one of the staff that they rotate their menu every 4 months or so. They also had some fun drink options.

Gordon’s restaurants are a must-have whenever we’re on Whidbey Island. Today was no exception and Gordon’s Fusion delivered another delightful, delectably delicious meal experience. My husband exclaimed that the clam chooser soup was the best he’s had and better than San Francisco’s. That’s starting off on a high note….would the rest of the meal live up to that? The butter chicken was tasty and not excessively buttery as some Indian restaurants prepare the dish. The miso salmon was beautifully prepared (I despise over cooked salmon), tasty with a little char & served with lovely veggies. The naan bread and compound butter was great. But the topper of the meal was the bread pudding - ridiculous! Bread pudding can be congealed, or soggy, or dense. Not this one. The custardy, slightly cinnamon/cardamom spices bread was layered with craisins and flaked almonds served on a bed of amazing caramel sauce and topped with blueberry compote and whipped cream. I know some reviewers consider the dishes expensive, but the food is too class, unique, meticulously flavored and prepared, and generously portioned. I highly recommend Gordon’s restaurants and we look forward to our next visit already.

This was actually our second pick of restaurants- we ended up walking right out of Front Street Grill due to the rudeness of their staff. This experience really turned our night around! The food was all excellent- hot, fresh, and this too less than an hour before closing. The staff were kind and accommodating, not rushing at all even though we clearly sat past closing (unintentionally, we didn’t notice until we turned around and left - that’s how patient and smooth the service was!). They even brought a bowl of ice water for our dog. We can’t wait to return and try more of the menu! Thank you so much for giving us a wonderful night out, particularly after a rocky start (here’s looking at you Front Street).

We were really excited to try this place. The menu looked promising, but we were highly disappointed. It’s a small place and nearly every table was full, but they only had a hostess and one waitress so everything took a very long time. They were obviously overwhelmed and not very friendly. There were 4 of us and a baby, and although this might not matter to most, all the high chairs were broken. We couldn’t strap in our son to it, so he had to sit in our lap the whole time. Even after waiting longer for the bigger table because they wouldn’t slide up the highchair to a 4 top. We finally ordered and when the food finally came, some was cold. My mom got the soup which was supposed to be a clam chowder, but when it came it was completely separated and broken so it was mush and oil in a bowl. She said something and they took it off her bill but still, should’ve never been served. Paid way too much for food that was hardly worth trying. Won’t be going back unfortunately.

Ok, I think we got the weekday version of dinner out. As a local, I hate not being able to give raving reviews to our community, but, gosh, such a bummer tonight. The location of this place is awesome & it’s really nicely decorated. We arrived early for dinner (around 5:15) and I went to check in while my husband parked & got our dog settled in the car. The restaurant was very quiet- two tables inside & two outside. Because my husband was not physically with me at that moment, I was told that ‘company policy’ prohibited the hostess from seating me until ‘the rest of my party arrived’. Really? You can’t get me a table so I can order a beverage to start? It’s dead… no one is here…So I stood there in the doorway awkwardly waiting for the ‘rest of my party’. C’mon… I’m all for guidelines in operations, but give employees the ability to read the room & make decisions that benefit customer service. ;( We eventually get a table outside & service was quick to bring wine & get our orders. The menu is all over the place- taking the idea of fusion to a whole new level. I ordered their special - Copper River salmon with chimichurri sauce on raspberry risotto. I had my heart set on getting salmon tonight so I took a leap of faith the crazy combo would be good. My husband ordered the chicken tenders. Although quickly delivered, I was so bummed when our food arrived. My pasta bowl was filled with a goopy pink rice with gobs of cheese, and a big chunk of salmon covered in green sauce. Floating around the rice on the otter edge of the bowl, was a brown au jus of some sort. The salmon was perfectly cooked, but sadly ruined with the ‘sauces’. My husband’s chicken was huge portion, but the breading on one portion was sliding off & the other piece was dark dark brown. The portion of meat to breading was way off & the ramekin of dipping sauce was small. The sides had competing flavors & the waffle fries were crunchy with too much salt. I feel like the cooking crew was off their game tonight. One look at the presentation of this food would have been a clue that it wasn’t right & they were being lazy. The server should have pushed back before coming out with it & even after I gave feedback, no one tried to address the issue. This was our third trip to Gordon’s. Not likely to return or recommend. Sorry… I really really want to support you guys.

Visited with another couple. We ordered very different meals and all could not stop raving about how wonderful our meals were. The quality of food and flavors were spot on. We all agreed it was the best meal of our trip. The staff were attentive and very friendly. We’re looking forward to seeing what the Chef has planned for his next menu selections. We plan on returning every time we visit Seatle.

Flavorful. Def a creative menu executed by people who know what flavor is. We had multiple share plates and loved them all. Shrimp, tuna, poutine. And great cocktails too. Friendly service. Highly recommend.

We tried another restaurant here in Coupeville but they had a two hour wait at 5 pm (kudos to them!), so we back-tracked it here because we love Thai food. I was not disappointed. Spring rolls are a work of art, and the Pad Thai was delicious. Thanks
