Very quick hike to the pond. It's steep from the parking area but flat after about 25ft. The pond is quaint and you can walk the perimeter of it. Beware that there is a pond overflow that will block circumnavigation of the pond. It's deeper than you think. Great walk for dogs too. The loop around the pond is beautiful all year long and offers a good hike.

Very nice trail. Kept clean and brush free. All the people that we met (which weren't many since the trail is decent size) were very friendly. I would recommend this trail especially since you feel as if you are far away from the city even though you are still on the outskirts of Keene. 10/10 for a relatively easy going hike!
It's a great place to go with the kiddos for a hike or to take a cast. Lots of bass and the water is pretty clear. Great trails and it's always nice to bump into a stranger and exchange pleasantries. Short easy hikes trails are good for running and if it's too busy you'll know because the parking lot will be full! Not far from keene either.
The paths are great for walking and the scenery is beautiful. My only issue is the parking as it fills quickly leaving on on-road parking. One unfortunate person got too close to the edge and their car was stuck. I've taken my son and friends fishing and we've caught nice bass and one turtle that I was able to free from the hook unharmed. Springtime bass are viewed on their beds and great for teaching kids the science of their ways. Wild blueberries grow along the paths, which is always a plus.
