Goombay's Beachside - Seafood restaurant in Satellite Beach - 306 Florida A1A, USA

First off the staff was very nice, and our waitress was exceptionally helpful and friendly. The shrimp were large and very flavorful. My husband got some ghost pepper wings, and I took a bite of the celery off the top of them, and I don't know even how he ate them. For him they were very hot and flavorful. I got one of the chicken bowls and the plantains were the best I've ever eaten in my life. They made me a lover of plantains. The seafood egg rolls were very good, too! I almost forgot about the Key Lime Pie. It's not always my choice, but it was exceptional!

Got the Gringo Burger and the Louisiana Shrimp Po' Boy and was not disappointed. Everything was excellent. Try the shrimp bisque; wish we'd started with it. Nice little kick and super flavorful! Will make this a routine stop when we're in the area! Also loved the atmosphere! Stop here if you are hungry! Lots of outdoor dining if you want some fresh air.

We were in the area for the day from central Florida. My 85 yr old mother wanted seafood. I Google and this place looked good. This was a GREAT experience. The food was good, different than most restaurants have. But even more so, my mother was feeling a bit weaker than normal. So he was having trouble getting in. These ladies did not even hesitate to help us get in before they even realized she was having problems. They were SO friendly, EXTREMELY helpful! Prices were lower than expected for an A1A beachfront eatery. I would recommend this place for sure.

Very nice staff. Nommy food. The fresh bowls are good and the seafood rolls are also..totally different twists on the taste buds. Thank you.. you can even see the ocean between the condos ..

We had the sweetest most attentive server. It is a fabulously, casual indoor and outdoor restaurant. A beautiful menu with lots of options for seafood and sandwiches. Their bowls are fantastic. Lots of little specials during the week. Check the menu. Plenty of parking off of A1A, there is one step into the building so I don’t you got to be able to manage one step. Great location south of Patrick air force base. I had the surf and turf bowl which was amazing. Husband had the long neck clams, served any butter, garlic sauce with white toast. Mondays is margarita and martini specials. I had to lemon drop martinis. They were amazing. Hubby had the dirty vodka, martini, extensive beer and wine list.

The food was very good, the place is a bit quirky but that works well with the area. Staff very friendly. Fresh fish was a delicious.

We arrived later in the evening on a Wednesday night and the kitchen was already closed (everything in this area closes early during the week). The staff was extremely accommodating and offered to reopen it so we could take our order to-go. Needless to say our kids were extremely happy! If you are looking for a great local restaurant with a beach vibe, be sure to check this place out. The food is top notch! Highly recommend the rice, burgers, and fresh Mahi. Drink selection is excellent as well.

This place was close to where we was staying. We sat outside on the patio. They bring you samples of their shrimp bisque to start. My son loved it so much he got some as his main course. Some of the best we have ever eaten. The fries plaintains was really good as well. Highly recommend the tuna appetizer! So fresh and flavorful. They have a great menu, and have food for the not seafood lovers. The tuna as the main course is great as well. They offer many differ flavor options to it. A must try is the fried cheesecake! This is a place we would definitely go back too!! So worth tbe five stars.
