I came here to get 4 new tires on my work vehicle. I was happily greeted by Greg, the manager. He talked me through my options and led me in the right direction for tires that suited my needs and budget. I will definitely return here for future service.
Asked them to replace the stems in my tires. Then tried to sell me new brake rotors (had my brakes/rotors done less than a year ago. They damaged my tire pressure sensors then tried to sell me new ones for over $300.Then filled my tires up ridiculously. Front is supposed to be 32, back should be 30. The back left was 39, back right 35, front left 37, front left 30.
Update: I brought my car to another tire shop and they showed me a picture of the Subaru tire pressure sensors. They are attached to the stems.. the guy told me it was an easy fix and there was no need replace them. He mentioned whoever installed the stems must’ve been really rough with them to cause them to have this issue. He didnt even charge me as he felt bad about the experience I had at Goodyear.
I would give 0 starts if I could. Brought my vehicle in for a coolant leak. They had it from 7/10/24 to 7/17/24. On 7/10, I confirmed with Greg that they can see the car that day and he agreed. It was towed over, then I confirmed with Brian around 10am that they received it. They did. On 7/11, I spoke with George and was told they need more time. On 7/12, George calls me to state they need about another day or so. On 7/17, after receiving no calls through the weekend and the beginning of that week, I decided to call to check the status. I spoke with Greg, who then informs me that they “can’t find the leak”, my car had “too many codes to want to get into”, and “there’s nothing they can do”. I picked up my car on 7/18 and brought to Josue Auto Repair about 2 mins away from Goodyear and he finds the leak in 2 hours. Save yourself time and money, don’t do business here.
These guys are awesome. I got 4 new tires placed last year + my brake pads changed and not only was it very reasonably priced but they did it quicker than I thought. I’ve taken my car back to them twice since for random small issues (not related to the work they did prior) and each time I’ve had the same experience. Great customer service and they are honest and fair with their pricing. I usually don’t write reviews but had to share!
Unfortunately it took me 5 hours to change all 4 tires! When I arrived I was treated very poorly by a man with a horrible sense of humor! After that, another person helped me and I managed to reverse the situation a little! but unfortunately I was waiting 5 hours.
Great customer service, reasonable rates for anything tire related. Pretty sure they gave me a lower quality oil than I would typically get (may be my own fault there). Further I have received quotes from them on 2 repairs for exorbitant costs before getting the repair elsewhere for half the price.
For example: power steering pump replacement quoted at $1300+, had replaced at Josue for $600 instead. Then more recently, went to Goodyear thinking I just needed an alignment, they said I needed a new ball joint, tie rods, and control arm for $1400+. Took to Josue for repair instead and was told my control arm was actually just fine and was charged far less.
While at a work event, my tire was leaking air. I left and frantically looked up repair shops, calling several locations who told me they could not service my vehicle until later that same week. When I called the Goodyear in Malden, I was greeted by a friendly team member who said I could bring in my car by 5:00 pm and they would take a look. I told the team member I would not make it until 5:10 pm and he said that was fine. Upon arriving, I was immediately greeted by George. He took my keys, checked me in, and got back to work on other vehicles. He did not get a chance to look at mine with another team member until roughly 5:45 pm. Keep in mind, this location closes at 6:00 pm. He and the other team member looked all around the tire and finally found the issue on the inside rim. They fixed the issue and completed the repair around 6:20 pm. The entire time they were professional, polite, and incredibly helpful. I felt bad about them staying late, but I was so pumped at the incredible level of service. I have never had such excellent customer service while at a garage. I highly recommend this location.
Did a Really good job. My 88 year old father goes there. He has nothing but good things to say about all the employees.
These guys are super friendly and knowledgeable about both fresh and saltwater aquariums. They foster a great community environment for people interested in the hobby. Definitely the local place to go if you want some high quality stocks. Highly reco
