Gondolier Oceanfront Motel - Motel in Wildwood Crest - 5701 Ocean Ave, USA

This is the cleanest and nicest motel that I've ever stayed at in Wildwood Crest in many years. Incredibly friendly staff and very accommodating. Location is directly across the street from the beach. The pool was super clean also. Highly recommend.

Another wonderful stay at The Gondolier. We have been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. We book 2-3 rooms. The location is convenient to the boardwalk, beach and restaurants. The property and rooms are super clean as is the pool/patio. The staff could not be more friendly and welcoming. We have already made arrangements for 2025. - The Sheridans

This place was great! wonderful girl at check in very sociable.. free coffee was wonderful,I was bragging about it at our daughters hotel across the street they stayed at Waters Edge and no one could find a coffee shop…Motel was clean, the staff went out of their way to help…the beach is just too far away so we utilized the pool a lot …

Motel is very close to the beach and had adequate parking. Common areas are well kept. There are grills in the pool area for guest use. But, my issue is with our room (#321). The GFI outlet in the bathroom was cracked/broken and not working. I think this is a safety issue and my wife wasn't happy about not using her hair dryer. I texted the front desk about the GFI but got no response. The shelf next to the sink is loose/coming off the wall. There is only ONE lamp in the room and it is not controlled by the wall switch. We had to walk into a dark room. The freezer compartment in the small fridge had a large block of ice and I had to defrost it before we could use it. While the room was clean, taken together, these things indicate a lack of maintenance. Other rooms we stayed in past had similar but minor issues. Fortunately, we spend most of our time at the beach and not in our room. While we like the Gondolier and have stayed several times, we may be looking at other places in the future.

The wifi wasn't bad like others have said, we had 4 devices connected the whole time. The problem is there's a cap, and you aren't able to access if it's full. That was probably the only decent thing about staying here, that and the rooms were clean and roach free. Can't say that about every motel in Wildwood. If you are a non smoker, this is for you. I did not see it broadly advertised that this is a NO SMOKING PROPERTY. Which is a hassle to have to walk every time you want to smoke. The staff is on top of you every time you walk around the corner. They check wristbands for the pool multiple times a day. The fact that this is nowhere near the Hilton, I think they need to relax a little. We were mislead on the room as many others were. The only rooms with a full kitchen and more than 1 room is on the 4th floor and looks like their is only 1 or 2 of those. The only A.c is in "private room" which has a slotted door that you can't lock. The door slides and bangs against the wall in the middle of the night if you open it. I've has better rooms that weren't in the crest and way cheaper.

Yes we arrived Thursday afternoon. We checked in and we were THEN told only 1 car parking spot. We were there for the Barefoot Concert. 6/20/24 2 blocks down we were lucky we found a spot. Try to park in that area! And my last complaint is we didn't have paper towels or a spare roll of TP or any soap or shampoo ! We had to ask the desk if they have a hair dryer! Really. No thanks! That was enough for me.

The hotel was continently located just off the boardwalk. The front staff were welcoming and helpful. My only complaint was the beds are terrible! It was hard and springy.

I love this place. The rooms and property are very clean. The service is great. Clean pool and outside grill. Direct beach access and parking.
