Goldstar Inn - Motel in Sylmar - 12165 San Fernando Rd, USA

So this place is pretty much a den of inequity.. need a venue to have yourself a night of debauchery?? Goldstar Inn. Want a cool Jacuzzi in your room for only a buck ten (book early)?? Goldstar Inn. The staff is very friendly and there's ample parking. The soda machines are out of order but there's a gas station right across the street that sells all your debaucherous needs.

Goldstar Inn is run down and not to clean. They charge for everything too. If you have a dog that's $20 a day. If you have a visitor that's $20 and I think if they stay over night it's $100 per person. The list goes on and on. As of writing they have been to my room once to clean . I have been here a week. Microwave, sodas and atm are on the side behind the office outside. I didn't find these for 2 days. The area is a little rough. After staying a month a few things did happen. I would never stay in this filthy place again. Here's the heads up. They charge you for everything. If you need fresh towels you will need to ask for them. If you need T.P you will have to ask and be careful with the extra charges. When I was out one day they checked me out. They packed my room up and then they called me. I was back there within 5 minutes . When I went through my things several things were missing. I talked to the daughter of the owner ,an adult and she said she knew nothing about it. SHE was the one that packed all of my things up because she told me she didjust the day before. She just threw all of my things into trash bags by the way. So she lied about packing my things, about needing to check out, probably about charging me $20 each time my friends would stop by to say hello. No one would call me back about my missing things or come to the phone for that matter . I never got to speak to anyone other than her. So they not only got me for over $100 a day but all of my jewelry, cash,my pillows, weed and $20 everything anyone would come to see me. DO NOT STAY HERE! NOT ONLY IS THIS PLACE A DIRTY RUN DOWN MESS! THEY ALSO RIP YOU OFF AT EVERY TURN!!! You have been warned

This is by far the worst place I’ve ever stayed. Creepy, run down, unsafe, gross, all around BAD BAD BAD. I booked this place as a quick crash pad for the night and I didn’t sleep a wink. I think I’d rather sleep in my car somewhere safer. The room wreaked of cigarette smoke even though it was supposed to be non-smoking. There was a creepy window with bars on it in the back of our room that looked like it was straight out of a horror film. The whole place was gross with stains and hair. No soap, not even to wash your hands. My pillow looked like it was rescued from the dumpster. Do yourself a favor, do not stay at this hotel or any hotel around this area. Not safe! I have zero positive things to say and will NEVER stay here again.

The hotel owners are too lazy to actually tell you if they actually have a room available or not so they just put a no rooms available up even though they do

The motel is not in the best area. The room was clean. Floors look new. There was no table and only one chair. Towels were old and fringed. No coffee maker or microwave in the room. The room is very dark because it is painted in a dark color. The bathroom has no vent.

Great value. I've stayed at this Inn a few times during my national tour for my hiking YouTube show "Beyond the Pavement". My rooms are always clean and the staff is always very friendly. Air conditioning works great and I've always enjoyed my stay.

This is a not clean place. The outside is very run down and dirty and the rooms are the same. I found a dead cockaroach in the fridge. There was what looked like vomit in the make shift kitchen. Some man's dirty pants and undies in one of the drawers and I could go on but won't. The young lady who checked us in was kind and helpful that was the only good thing about our stay that night. Also i think this place is better off and is more of a weekly and monthly stay type motel. I definitely woukd not go back. Sorry

If you want a place where you can feel at home then this is definitely the place to go to: it is conveniently located next to a lot of shopping centers. They have a laundry facility and security on site. I never have an issue with parking and you don't have to worry about your car being broken into. The rooms are spacious, have a fridge, stove and sink! So you can literally save money and cook here. The manager Delva is a sweet heart
