Goldener Hirsch, Auberge Resorts Collection - Hotel in Park City - 7520 Royal St, USA

I was at the Goldener Hirsch Deer Valley for a conference and stayed the weekend for skiing. The hotel is very nice, the staff is even better. Everyone on the staff went out of their way to make sure that we felt special. Christoph is number one on this list, checking on me and my colleague often and ensuring we got everything we needed. ||||The hotel shuttle service to take us into downtown Park City was great. We never waited long for a drop off or a pick up.||||We really appreciated the on site Ski Butlers and locker facilities. It made everything easier. The hotel's location was fantastic, we were right at the mountain, it was a 2 minute walk to the snow. And on day 1, my skis were on the snow waiting for me...so pampering.||||The hot tub is an experience to enjoy, six stories up, and a glass window for all to see you enjoying the high life.

We were at the Goldener Hirsch for a 5 night stay over the Christmas holiday. We booked a two bedroom residence and it was spectacular. ||The hotel booked transportation for us from the airport. We were greeted immediately upon arrival at the car by Ryan (valet team). Check-in was extremely quick with Beatrice (front desk team) and we were given use of a hospitality suite for the day as we arrived well before check-in time. This was extremely useful as we were travelling with two children. Christophe (concierge team) introduced himself immediately as well as Justin (general manager). Everyone was extremely welcoming and kind. We're sorry we didn't get everyone's name that assisted us. In addition to the above team members, there was a woman that was working at the Kitz everyday during our stay that was wonderful. I do wish I had gotten her name. ||The residence was sparkling clean and beautiful. We had pre-ordered some grocery items and they were already delivered when we arrived. Turndown service every night was very nice.||Our stay was lovely. We utilised the free shuttle service to get down to the base of the mountain for ski school and into town for dinner and walking around. Highly recommend using the Ski Butlers if you need rental equipment, particularly if you are travelling/skiing with young children. ||The spa treatments were excellent and very relaxing. We had dinner in the restaurant on our last evening there and the food and service were very good. On Christmas Eve, the children were asked to leave a shoe under the Christmas tree in the Antler Lounge and on Christmas morning, each shoe had two, small wooden nutcrackers and a variety of markers so that the children could colour the nutcrackers. There were several other child-friendly activities available: pretzel making, cookie decorating, gingerbread house decorating. We didn't have enough time to partake in these activities. ||The rooftop pool and hot tub were beautiful and the fitness center and adjacent sauna were very nice. ||Check-out was quick and easy and the hotel arranged our transportation to the airport. ||This was our first time in Park City as a family and we are looking forward to returning. A big thank you to everyone at the Goldener Hirsch that worked over the holiday.

I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. My wife and I stayed here for three nights over New Year’s, and everything about the stay surpassed our expectations. The physical space (rooms, roof top hot tub, sauna, cafe, ski lockers, lounge, restaurant) were all lovely, but the service was unlike anywhere else I’ve been. It’s a small hotel with an honestly ridiculous ratio of staff to guests, and everyone working there was so friendly and seemed to love their job. The restaurant was a special treat - they serve incredible food with a slightly more casual and family friendly vibe than some of the other restaurants at DV. We will absolutely be back, and hopefully make a yearly tradition of this. What a treat.

I wish it were possible to give 6 stars instead of 5. This was by far the best hotel I have ever stayed at because of the EXCEPTIONAL service from the staff! The team goes above and beyond making sure you are well taken care of your whole stay. From Christoph leaving us homemade cookies and chocolates in our room to Alex anticipating all our transportation needs to Harold making us the most lovely food and drinks - and even giving my girls hats from the hotel. We were treated with genuine care and connection our entire trip. Plus, the activities were phenomenal: pretzel making, a sound bath, yoga, and even horseback riding. I would HIGHLY recommend Goldener Hirsch.

First-class in every sense of the word. Taylor, the GM, is absolutely outstanding as is the terrific team. Jonah, Christoph, Agata and everyone else we interacted with treated us with such respect. My family and I love staying here and we plan on returning year after year. We HIGHLY recommend the hotel. It has ski in/ski out, a great hot tub and pool, live music each evening, and most importantly a top-notch staff.

By far the most beautiful and impressive hotel I've ever stayed at. Everything was seamless from check-in to check-out, and we enjoyed the stay so much we didn't want to leave! We were so impressed by the attention to detail, beautiful premises, and 5 star customer service. Everyone we interacted with was so friendly and welcoming, and I loved the signature scent and overall decor of the property! I could go on but I highly recommend this wonderful hotel to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing getaway. Deer Valley trails, skiing and mountain biking are accessible at your doorstep and the awesome staff provide shuttle service to other places nearby in the Park City area. The winter season is most popular but we enjoyed visiting in September, getting to experience the temperate (highs of 60s and 70s) weather and beautiful fall foliage. We loved our stay and will definitely return!

Came here from Boston specifically for this hotel. Was on a special anniversary that was communicated prior and was given the worst room in the hotel, service was horrendous where the front desk was inept during check in, no one greeted by name or cared about us as guests. Valet let a tesla take their keys with them and it blocked the garage for about an hour while we had to wait with our baby in the lobby. Valet parked us in a snow bank and left us to put our bags in while holding an infant and no apologies and still charged for parking. Room was way too hot and was not accurate compared to thermostat as we had our own thermostat on the baby monitor. Room at the end of a sky bridge where guests walked by all day staring into our room so curtains had to remain shut the whole time or we were staring at other guests or a wall. Roof pool and hottub were nice but no service provided there and all clothes got wet because of the maintenance and inability to place in a dry spot. Only nice part was the service at the restaurant and the food. I chose this over the Stein Erickson because of their reviews/accolades as #1 Hotel in NA and #4 in world but would recommend Stein Erickson all day. Went there for a couple drinks and their staff went above and beyond to treat us like world class guests

As always amazing ski conditions, excellent food and views to die for at Goldener Hirsch! Dont forget to pack your swim suite and wind down after a day of skiing in the rooftop pool/hot tub with breath taking mountain views. For this trip I brought my young daughter and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home and take the stress of traveling as a new mom off of me. I would rate Goldener Hirsch 15/10 !
