Excellent hidden gem of the bay. Weekend visit and plenty of parking and guest services. The upstairs active train room is impressive with large running displays of G, HO and N scale trains running thru typical California location scenes. Kids were loving the trains and as an adult exploring the hobby, I learned a lot
We absolutely LOVE this 😀 ❤️ We will be returning soon. There is so much to see and learn about. Anyone, especially children and train enthusiasts, would love it as much as we do. There is a very small charge for entrance on days that the trains are running. We went on a Saturday and didn't have to pay to get in. We will be going back on a Sunday and watch the trains run on the tracks. It will cost us $3.00 each, and they do take donations. Please donate. 💕
A large, well executed model train layout exhibiting a variety of scales (N-scale, HO & O- scale) and helpful, particularly pleasant staff. My toddler grandson loves the place. The neighborhood park is stunning, with views of three Bay bridges and a delightful place to meander or enjoy a picnic lunch following a couple of hours watching the model trains doing their thing. Well worth the minimum price of a ticket.
Awesome place for all ages to visit! So much to look at and the details are impressive. The volunteers running the trains are informative, friendly, and ready to answer any questions you have. Admission is inexpensive compared to the amount of time you'll spend exploring the models. Saw kids from 2yr to teen, and many adults engaging and enjoying the models and trains.
I really enjoyed the place. The detail and heart they put into this train set is outstanding. The size is awesome too and that they have 3 different train size tracks. It's also fun hearing about it from the different people that volunteer their time. It's also next to a beautiful park so bring a picnic for the time after you are done with the train. Very good experience. It's also great for kids too since they have tunnels with little windows so the kids can see.
AMAZING! Like being a grownup kid. I has a wonderful visit on an open Saturday (1-4pm for $5 adult) and will be back to volunteer for modeling.
O scale, N scale and HO scale model trains. They are only open Saturday and Sunday. On Sundays is when the members run their trains. I chatted with one of their members about the history of this group. I can't remember his name, but he has been there since 1964.
A superb place for a model train lover. Displays 3 most popular scales N, HO and O in large, highly detailed layouts that depict most of the popular railroad attractions in California. The HO display was my favourite, the N scale one was fabulous too. The volunteers and staff were very friendly. The only negative observation is that the layouts could definitely use better maintenance in many areas. I understand that it's a big facility and difficult to manage only with volunteer workforce, but with a little better maintenance this place can become a great tourist spot.

This is our favorite park. Perfect park for dogs to be themselves without any leash. It has drinking water facilities, benches to sit in between the walks, and at the end there is shower and tub service for dogs. The ocean view is very beautiful. Dog
I discovered this place through Uber eats and I fell in love with it. I have tried their pupusas, tortas, carne asada and everything is so yummy and full of flavor. Great customer service too! This is now my fav place in the area ð
We rented the entire island when we took our children when Christmas and the food was delicious and the staff made you feel like royalty. When do you ever get to stay in a beautiful home on an island. Treat your friends and yourself and your family
Fantastic place to stop for coffee in Richmond. Great tasting espresso, sweets, all in a very cool setting, accompanied by great service. Canât ask for more than that!
This place is one of the cleanest spots in the area. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the food is yummy. Highly recommend for groups and family-style dinning. Their Beef & Gyro wraps are to die for!
Finally made it to the pancake breakfast and it just happened to be during fleet week. Just be prepared for the wind. All the docent-led tours were sold out. we still enjoyed our self guided tour exploring the ship. We will definitely be back to take
Mostly all trails are ADA accessible. Loose gravel trails are hard to manage in a manual wheelchair but powerchairs ride just fine. Limited parking, only accessible parking is In the WCC parking lot.
Fast food is not my idea of food. I find nothing appealing in it. I like making own food, but sometimes I go for it occasionally. And thatâs when I donât feel like cooking or when we go out for the day. The menu of that restaurant is basically a
