Golden Sands Inn - Motel in Boynton Beach - 520 SE 21st Ave, USA

IT WAS JUST WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR AT A GOOD PRICE -- I'm a single woman and I needed a place to stay for several nights that was basic, clean and conveniently located in Boynton Beach. I was in room 110 that was recently remodeled. The bedroom was huge with a little kitchenette with a refrigerator, freezer and microwave, all in good working order! Everything was very clean. It was just what I needed at a good price!!

I stayed at Golden Sands Inn three times, twice for week long, once for three days. I enjoyed staying at this place very much. The room is large, quiet and clean, and, it comes with a refrigerator and kitchen area with sink where cooking some simple meals is delightful! The queen size bed was firm and comfortable, so were the pillows. This place has a new management team, a very respectful, responsive and hardworking young couple who are making improvements to the place where I have witnessed the change for the better each time from my repeated stay. This place locates at a very convenient location, close to shopping, beaches, and public facilities. I will not hesitate to come back to stay at this place the next time when I revisit southern Florida. It is a very practical accommodation that fits the bill. I will recommend this place to my friends and family members.

The room looked fine, smelled a little musty but we would manage with a little airing out. The owner swiped our credit card then informed us there would be no refunds so don't ask. Then proceeded to tell us that if we needed to clean our room to come and get the supplies from her. So no maid service. The second day she knocks on the door to let us know the exterminator will be coming in to spray our room. No problem unless you have bugs, then they start to run. Roaches. Yay! Just what we needed to take with us! When I did go to beg for my toilet paper, trash bags, and cleaning supplies, she rolled her eyes at me because I forgot to ask for towels and had to "bother" her two times. The pool was small, dirty, paint was peeling off the inside of it. The room was actually pretty clean tho. Location is terrible, and owner doesn't need to be bothered with you once she has swiped your credit card and told you no refunds.

We found this place on Google. Just what we were looking for. Call, spoke with manager. Great rates, short walk to the beach. Don't look at the negative reviews because I talked to the employees multiple times; they were super nice people, and the room was very clean!

Absolutely fantastic! Rooms are very clean, beds are comfortable and the rooms are very spacious. There's even closet space! Management is great and very attentive to your needs. I highly recommend here, best place in the area.

We got a clean room with a comfortable bed and in our budget. The place has been well kept and we had a nice peaceful night. TV, WIFI and friendly staff! I definitely recommend!

I stayed for a week and left with scabies!!! $570 and had to leave everything I brought in the room cuz it was infested with bed bugs too!!! When I told them they threatened to call the cops on ME! I was told they wash the blankets every 3 weeks! I wouldn't even want to go near anyone who stays here, all the poor guests have bites on there skin.... it should be closed down as a health risk. 550 plus 20 for key deposit.

This place was the worst hotel experience of my life. Everything smelled like mold. We needed a place to stay before moving into our new place. The location was convenient and had parking for our U-Haul. Granted the parking was the empty lot belonging to the abandoned "restaurant" in front of the hotel but it worked. When we checked in the person at the front desk was not friendly and the reception area should have been my first clue to what we would see in the room. The smell of mold was apparent even in reception. When we got to the room I didn't even want to sleep in the sheets. Everything looked nasty I am not even sure the sheets had been washed and the blanket over the sheets was old and smelled. We got into town late and just needed the room for one night so we stuck it out. I could not wait to get out of there the next day. After only one night I was coughing and felt like my lungs we fighting the mold. Do not stay here!!!!!!!!!! I hope this place closes and is torn down to make room for a nice hotel with standards. WORST HOTEL STAY EVER!!!!!!!!!! The "Website" for this place is false. It is for a Marriott this is not a Marriott. Nothing on the website works. IF I COULD GIVE THIS 0 STARS I WOULD!!!!
