Nothing can beat the location of this property. We stayed at the ocean view suite. It was very clean and well maintained. You can find everything you need at the kitchen, including coffee maker and cookware. We arrived a little bit earlier, and had no problem with early check in (based on availability). The manager on call was very helpful and responded within minutes. The housekeeping team was amazing. And they have a patio with a stunning ocean view there. Can be a little loud on Friday or Saturday night as there are a couple of restaurants downstairs, but it's not too much noise. All the rooms are located on the second floor, no elevator. There are lockers with instructions provided on your checking in. A lot of dining options around. Definitely recommended!

Loved our stay at Golden Sand! It's a modest, simple place with a GREAT location. We loved sitting out on the deck having coffee in the morning. We borrowed the beach chairs and umbrella to head out to the beach. The room was great for our short stay. Coffeemaker worked great. Wished the freezer had been defrosted to be a bit more usable, but it was OK. :-) Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend this cute place to anyone.

This is THE place to stay when you would rather spend your money on important things, like food! The room is nothing fancy, but it is clean and the view and private terrace that's only shared with the small amount of other rooms there, can't be beat. I think the whole property had 6 rooms maybe? I never saw anyone else on the terrace. They had boogie boards and provided beach towels. We had a king size bed that faced the Ocean, and a small kitchenette area. There is no place to cook but there was a full size refrigerator. If you want a quiet Saturday night, this is NOT the place because downstairs they have a live performer/karaoke on the boardwalk. We had a fantastic time and didnt have to go anywhere. There are several food options below the property so you can find just about anything within about 200m either direction. Customer Service was very responsive by text message. We will definitely be staying here again on any future travels to Ft Lauderdale. The Salmon Bagel I had at Venice Restaurant down the boardwalk was also fantastic!

We loved our stay at Golden Sand. It's a small, modest place. Nothing splashy, but the location is amazing. The size was perfect for us and the room had everything we needed. We stayed in the smallest room, and it was excellent. The bed was comfy, the coffee maker worked. The ONLY thing we'd have wished for was a larger freezer to keep ice in. (The small apt size fridge had a freezer compartment, but it needed a defrost to make it more usable.) But that is a SMALL SMALL thing in an otherwise wonderful place. It was clean and well-maintained. The deck overlooking the beach was just wonderful. I loved sitting out there having coffee in the morning. We got food and had dinner up there. We often borrowed the beach chairs and umbrella and sat out on the beach. Just lovely. Staff were excellent and everything went super smoothly. Thanks, Golden Sand!

It was my birthday Aug. 16 and I wouldn’t change not one thing it was an awesome birthday weekend with my girlfriend Patty here at Golden Sands! Big Huge shout out to Tony!! I will definitely be back soon!! Highly recommended, thanks again Tony..

Loved it stayed for a week. Rooms are clean (cleaning girl there everyday) view is a million dollar view. If you like to people watch it's the place to be just sit out on the balcony. Tony is great and very very accommodating. We had a great time thanks Tony

Room was dirty! Room had bad odor when we entered (was told just cleaned) Room sat above cuban restaurant bar. You will hear very loud Cuban music till 12:30 AM. We were kept awake all night by others - building insulated. You will hear everything! |Room NOT as pictured in advertisement (advertisement,booking.com, etc. had very clean rooms, inviting and bright-we walked into very dark, dingy rooms, very old furniture, ) sheets, had stains on them, towels were super thin and very old. For $319 definitely thought we were getting something better. |. Very deceiving. Adult’s that are wanting a quiet stay - DO NOT BOOK !! |Thank goodness it was only for one night.
