Great vibes with the music. The soda machines are awesome as you have so many options to choose from, and of course the chicken is always on point, unless you are craving for adobada burritos which are so yummy and hearty. Lunch and reading my homework 🥰 I'm loving this mellow yellow limeade 😍😍
Thank you golden pride east being open on Christmas Eve. We got our Christmas food through drive thru. Service was incredible quick. Got a family meal with 10pc of fried chicken, 1 pound of ribs, two large sides and 6 rolls; and 20 pieces of nuggets. The food was solid. Both fried chicken and nuggets were so crispy and juicy at the same time.
Delicious, I can't wait to try more of the menu. We had breakfast but they have lunch and dinner to. Didn't get very many pictures of the food 😂.
Dine in is closed so Drive Thru only. Food is DELICIOUS! Got the Rib Dinner plate. The chicken is deeply fried and juicy the Mac super Cheesy and the pork ribs perfectly cooked!
I had the Chicken Fillet Sandwich, and my friend had the 2 piece value meal with coleslaw and potatoe salad. We both enjoyed our meals very much. This restaurant was very busy, but it operated like a well-oiled machine. The food came out fast and was hot and fresh. I highly recommend this restaurant!
If you love breakfast burritos, this is the go-to place. Blake's is good too but Golden Pride is consistent. Just look at the drive-thru if you ever need convincing. Don't let the line scare you though, it moves fast.

We live quite close to this GP so we decided to get a quick dinner. Pulled up to the speaker, gave our order. Got to the window & waited, & waited & w a i t e d. Finally the window slides open & the young lady says “you have a 3 piece dark meal with mashed potatoes & corn on the cob, 20 piece chicken nuggets, large fry, & dozen of tortillas. I said yes. She hands me the food & I drove off.
We get home open the bag with our dinner in it & low & behold the 3 piece meal with dark meat is actually a 3 piece meal with white meat. I shake my head & say to my husband “I am not shocked at all, I mean how many times have they screwed up our order in the past.
I had said in the new year that I would try the restaurants that didn’t fare to well with us in the past 1 more time & if that visit didn’t live up to their best service then I would no longer go back. So 5 days into the new year & Golden Pride is taken out of the mix. 52 years in the chicken biz & y’all can’t tell the difference between white meat & dark meat.
Working together for a better community, and excellent Adobada burritos. Lobby opens at 7AM!!
