Golden Phoenix - Vietnamese restaurant in Buford - 4850 Golden Pkwy #3c, USA

I'm not sure why their sign outside says Chinese and Thai Cuisine but it has a whole bunch of viet dishes on their menu. My husband had pho and he said it's one of the best pho he had, didn't need much of their sirarcha or hoisin sauce. Recommend their chicken wings, my youngest love it so much she wanted me to order more! There was two people working in the front. I would say the young lady was more attentive than the young guy to our needs.

Tasty food, busy when I walked in, so that’s good indication. No clear indication on what to do. Meaning, do you go and order food and sit and wait for it? Do you sit and wait for a waitress? I ended up ordering to go. Food not spicy so ask for spicy on the side. I ordered veggie pad Thai.

We're so glad this place has reopened for dine in AND it's under new management!!!! You'll find a great mix of Thai, Vietnamese and Chinese food. We had to sample them all. The bahn mi is fantastic. The bun has a wonderful crust and is tender on the inside. I had the pork. It was sweet and spicy and yummy. I love nam sod. They had larb gai which was close enough for me. It was just spicey enough and a great way to start our meal. The server recommended the Vietnamese house vermicelli. OMG! It was out of this world. Order this. You will not be disappointed. I also ordered the spicy basil noodles and Mongolian beef. Two standards and they were cooked perfectly. I highly recommend this restaurant. They do take out as well.

I no longer have to travel 45 minutes to an hour if I want delicious PHO as the GOLDEN PHOENIX RESTAURANT in Buford is much closer to me than Duluth is. The menu has both THAI and CHINESE items on their menu so you can get whichever cuisine you are feeling like. The PHO is perfect and their GENERAL TSO CHICKEN is cooked to perfection with a slight crisp and spicy level that doesn't make you quit 😅 Service is always great with an extremely quiet environment, at least when I've gone over. I always see people come in for pick up but I always prefer my food eaten right away 🤣 If you've never had PHO... I beg you... Don’t get deceived by photos- the actual food is nowhere near. The waitress doesn’t remember which table ordered what. 2nd star for food comes from the fact it actually tastes better than it looks. Anyhow - don’t go there. Life is too short to go to these kind of places.

New owners. Would have given them 10 stars if I could. Menu is more Vietnamese focused. Ordered a noodle dish and it was superb! Will definitely be back to try the Pho.

Stopped in for lunch yesterday for the first time. The owner was very nice and gave me a great recommendation. The vietnamese dish I tried was outstanding. He told me to put the sauce over the dish and mix well. It was like a sweet vinegar and chili flavor. I will definitely be back again.

I was so surprise that they have Vietnamese food around this area. The V6 is a special cool noodles and it’s so good, have to come back to try the PHO since it’s getting cold outside.
