Update: This place was great when it was new, but like so many restaurants it now suffers from familiar increased food costs and staffing issues. Service is poor, food quality has declined, and a basic breakfast with coffee will now run you about $14-15. It's still fine, but I no longer recommend it, especially as there are better options nearby. Old Review from 2018: Great price for simple food, good service, and a really nice atmosphere in an updated building. Typical plate was $7-8 and only a couple bucks more for some great coffee. The kid pancakes were fun too. Plus, the location on 11 Mile helps fill a demand for restaurants in this part of town. Give it a try.

Best little secret in Berkley! Great service, great food, nice portions and good prices! The staff are all wonderful. This is a place where your name is remembered, and you're kindly greeted when you come in.

My family and I love this place, everyone is always so nice and the food is always amazing! Recommend 10/10!!

First visit. Food was good. Friendly staff. One cashier was reluctant to allow my service dog to come in. The others welcomed her. She is never an issue. She quietly sits by my side. Doesn't bark. Overall, a good experience.

I went mostly for the old servers with the old owner. The food was okay. Enough to keep coming. But over time just became bland. They use bacon bits in their skillets and that to me just doesn’t add up. I’m just looking for the real meat. I have had great service. Except for a couple times. The one thing I’d recommend is changing the plates. They are falling apart and chipped to the point there’s just about three chopped items on a table for two people for a breakfast. Not health code friendly. The owners also won’t allow a replacement for my toast when I’ve been a regular for far too long. I’m gluten intolerant and you’d think they would. But instead I was just reminded that I can just say no toast. When asking one of the owners myself.

Good restaurant, lots of breakfast and brunch selections. Friendly service and the orders come out fairly fast. It can get crowded in here, so don't be surprised if you have to wait for a table. Only open from 7-3, 8-3 on Sundays.

Good breakfast and plenty of coffee refills. I like that they seem to value their employees. There was a little boy sitting behind the register mostly out of sight playing on an iPad, about 4 years old. I assume his mom is one of their employees and she doesn’t have other childcare options. It’s nice to see a business that allows that! More moms need that kind of support

Absolutely love it here. As a Berkley resident I love coming to this quaint spot, that has absolutely delicious breakfast! I never get tired of the omelette and sweeter options like French toast and pancakes - they’re sooo good. Also love the Greek salad! Always have wonderful service with smile, too!
