Golden Fountain Restaurant - Chinese restaurant in Othello - 640 E Main St, USA

Wow 😳, this was something I have never experienced before , and hopefully never again. If you are going to serve in restaurant dining , put the food on an actual plate with real cutlery, you know full service. EVERYTHING is presented for you to leave as soon as possible, and we were totally confused when all our food came in take out containers at the table 😳??! While eating our incredibly BLAND I heard the person behind me order his drink when the waitress seemed to get upset and in a loud voice told there is no tea or coffee , so he asked for water , to which she replied , twice , cold or warm 🤷, like really ?? Hubby and I are disappointed to say the least as this was not a cheap meal, we ended up bringing most of it home to try and save it somehow. As for the sign on the door about lack of willing workers , ask your competition how they are attracting good workers , close your dining room and be total pick up/ take out. Very sad and disappointed 😞

Very good food, I recommend trying the egg rolls because they're crunchy on the outside, and soft on the inside. They took their time to cook the food, and the waiter was very nice and patient. The place was very clean and although it lacked decorations the place looked like a calm environment.

We've come here every year for about ten years in a row now. The service is always fast and friendly (they treat you like family!), the food is always great, and the prices are good for the amount of food you get. We came with three people total and barely made a dent in our three person meal (Family Meal C) but it was all fantastic. We will definitely come again next year and keep the tradition going!

They are not shy on serving portions. Chowmein noodles tasted great. Was not a fan of the small pieces of almond chicken.

Prices are INSANE !! They cut out half of the menu and you can't have any plate for under 17$ and that includes side portions of noodles and rice. Generals was a smaller portion and most of our food was cold and we purchased the largest meal. If we come back, it'll be just a 2 person date night at most. We left with 5 boxes of left overs because ordering the biggest combo was the cheapest way to order anything.

Damn. This food is good. Right now it's only take out, but they're friendly, helpful, and generous on their portions. One of the options we ordered did not fit in a container, so they put the container in a pair bag. When the good overfilled, we received every morsel ordered. That's INTEGRITY.

Delicious food, great proportions. Prices were a little high, as expected nowadays. Very friendly server. Answered all our questions and took the time to make sure we knew what we were ordering. 100% recommend and will return.
