Golden Corral Buffet & Grill - Buffet restaurant in Newnan - 605 Bullsboro Dr, USA

Awesome experience yesterday. Stopped by after a movie. All areas were clean, and the food was hot and ready. Four plates of food and one plate of banana pudding.

Always a bad attitude with the cashiers for carry out orders. Today I didn’t realize I only got half of the order of rolls I purchased when I was amiss home. Just decided to get a refund and got the run around about manager’s responsibility. Cashier disappeared and returned without manager and gave me refund as if I had taken her money personally….weird! Have gone there with friends and family for over 15 years and doubt I’ll ever go back and will discourage friends and family as well. Hard to enjoy their meals with bad attitude staff/cashier. I had to take photo of receipt since she wouldn’t return it and just to realize I was short changed on the refund after driving away

This Golden Corral is dated, however the food was fresh, hot, and they kept it coming. The omelet station was full at all times and the staff was definitely friendly and in the holiday spirit. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because they had absolutely NO fruit at all, deserts but no fresh or canned fruit. Now this didn't bother me but my mother loves to have fresh fruit with her breakfast.

I understand that the staff may have been overwhelmed due to it being a holiday, but that was a sheer fuster cluck at Golden Corral yesterday. That building needs to be updated and built to be more efficient and effectively able to accommodate a large number of people than it did yesterday. The staff was hit and miss, some of them were very nice others were not. The buffet prices need to be more accommodating to seniors to at least give them 2 dollars off of their meals or more. There was no baked white meat chicken, just dark(not everyone like dark). The experience was okay, but it could have been much, much better. The Hispanic lady who was sitting out the food was wiping down the areas with a dirty rag. Again, just be mindful, Golden Corral little things need attention.

No one was using gloves. It was disgusting. Then I get home can’t find my extra keys I had in there using the sanitizer and when I call and push 4 for manager it kept hanging up on me.

This was the worst Golden Corral I have ever eaten at. The ladies bathroom were filthy you slipped as you walked in the door almost falling. Every utensils I used on the buffet was slimy and nasty. The lettuce was bad on the salad bar. I surprised the health department has not shut them down. I will not be back. It felt very dirty. Edna our server was the only good thing about our visit. **She Rocked**

I mean, it's a buffet in a chain. It is probably the cleanest buffet I've ever been to and the food is definitely better, IMO, than at the local buffet that is individually owned. I go because my Dad loves to eat there and our 'dates' are time I cherish. The waitstaff is ALWAYS warm and friendly. The cashiers are, almost always, as well. Managers are always visible, always involved. Food is maybe above average for a buffet, as it is always replaced promptly and the areas around the food are maintained (spills cleaned up almost immediately, serving utensils replaced as needed).

Okay here's the thing, whenever I go to the United States I try a new restaurant I've never been to before. I will go back to the Golden corral every single time I go to the United States hands down bar none for sure! Fried chicken unbelievable in fact all the food is unbelievably good and so plentiful and very very reasonably priced..... Can you tell I liked it? How there isn't one on every street corner I'll never know.
