Gold Vault Inn - Hotel in Radcliff - 1225 N Dixie Blvd, USA

The Inn is dated but okay for an older place. The rooms were good - no issues. The shower was warm and a strong flow. The day I was there the hot tub was closed for either cleaning or repairs. The pool is indoors is larger than most pools and clean. The breakfast was sparse. They could offer a more variety of food. The Inn is close to the Patton Museum and Fort Knox. It appears that many military/civilians stay here when TDY to Fort Knox based on the number of people in Uniform I saw.

Look people you get what you pay for. I paid for a week here with my family. Rooms were decent. Ceiling in bathroom did have a leak but it did not affect us or our stay. Maintenance was helpful & Friendly. Staff were also friendly and helpful whenever we asked. Pool is large & has a clean pool deck. Although they attempted to fix the pool heater it didn’t want to cooperate. But then again that isn’t their fault. They made the effort to do what needed to be done..No roaches or bugs present. Hot tub is no longer functioning due to adults who couldn’t act like adults. Let’s just keep it at that. Breakfast was satisfactory and fresh. Room service was also friendly and up kept. The noise didn’t bother us it’s normal for people to be coming & going. It is a hotel. Smfh..Pet policy could use some adjustments as far as the fee goes. We didn’t incur any crazy charges. Got our deposit back. No issues. Stop complaining about the service these people give when you’re paying for a hotel not a damn luxury sweet at the Hilton. This hotel is good and the location is more than safe. Employees were very helpful to us and our stay was very enjoyable. And we appreciate the work you do. So we will definitely be back. Good option for those on a budget just looking to get away for the night. You get what you pay for. Really liked the heated indoor pool. Breakfast was ok. The only problems we had was the hot tub was down and they were out of oj on the breakfast bar. Employees were friendly.

Rooms were dated and smelled very strangely. The beds were quite hard, the floor may have been better. The pool room smelled very strongly but not of chlorine. Not sure how to describe the smell. There was hair all over the edges of the pool and within it. Bandaids were lying around. The pool itself was cracked and peeling. Hot tub not in service. The guy at the front desk was literally yelling at customer. Whom we over heard had to change her rooms three times due to the rooms having issues and ultimately slept in her car. Breakfast was a standard cheap hotel breakfast. There was men roaming the halls all morning, asking what rooms you were in and if and when you were leaving. This was hours before checkout. There was some language barriers as well.

This hotel was great for room quality and the breakfast was decent. The issue is they were not in any way prepared for the huge amount of kids that were in the hotel Saturday using the pool. The pool couldn't be enjoyed Saturday because every single towel in pool area was used by said children. The desk clerk was in no way any help and informed us that the last stack of towels was given to the kids in addition to what they already used. We were told to use our room towels but that would leave us no towels for showers. This was very poorly planned and the desk clerk was not in any way helpful. A limit should have been placed on the towels. I spoke to the desk manager and that was also very unhelpful. I wouldn't recommend this hotel nor would I stay again knowing the poor planning of management and desk clerks on shift.

For a quick trip to the Louisville area, this hotel is a perfect distance from downtown Louisville to provide an easy drive, yet far enough way to provide an excellent deal. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but it needs some modern updates. More electrical outlets and USB ports would make it even better.

The hotel is beautiful. Check in effortless. Had a pool side room. Recommended. The indoor pool is biggest size for indoor. Open 9 am to 1030 pm so can swim when day is done. Tables and loungers are available all day/night to hang out. Breakfast in am typical. Eggs meat fruit breads waffles drinks. The staff was so nice. The rooms were good. Bed comfy, refrigerator cold, lots of TV channels, wifi good, and water in shower perfect. We would DEFINITELY stay here again. We'll worth the price also.|

Worst place I've ever stayed and recommended everyone to book any hotel but this one. I booked this hotel for one night and was not given my deposit back. I was told the deposit was $50 I was charged $73.06. I have called 5 different times and get told every time that the manger is not there because she has multiple properties and she will give me a call back. After never receiving a call back i showed up in person to the hotel and was told the same thing. DO NOT STAY HERE! THEY WILL TAKE YOUR DEPOSIT!
