I had a great time!! Shania was an excellent coach!! She taught me how to gold sift with a pan, dirt and water. Amazing found some gold pieces with her help , enough to cherish my time in Alaska. This was a great stop on our Alaskan adventure. Erica was a great help in making sure we found every last piece of gold. We loved having the opportunity to practice with the extra dirt and we even found some extra flakes. Our pay dirt bags were very rewarding. The prices in the gift shop were very reasonable.

Ended up in Fairbanks on part of a cruise tour. Saw a lot of positive reviews for Gold Daughters and thought gold panning would be fun. I was correct. We had a blast. Found a gold flake in almost every scoop of dirt from their pile. I even found a small nugget in one. Before we left we did our $20 little bag of dirt that was guaranteed to have gold in it and they indeed did have several gold flakes. You can dig and pan as much dirt as you want. Roman was amazing. He's a local teen with a bright and friendly personality. Gold panning is a bit of an art and he was always happy to help and chat.

Place is amazing! Staff is friendly and helpful. You can do the bag of dirt you get with your entry fee, you can spend as long as you want panning their dirt pile. I was getting two to three flakes on each pan from the dirt pile. My pictures are from the dirtpile

We had a great time June 20th at Gold Daughters panning. Dorothy at the front desk was welcoming and friendly telling us about the tour. We all booked! Shania and Roman both were amazing showing us how to pan for gold. They were very helpful. They were very informative and interesting to to talk with! Dorothy and Shania helped pick the perfect locket for our gold!

This place is absolutely amazing! Every single one of the ladies was helpful and friendly! We all found gold in the huge pile and the bags that they give you had SIGNIFICANTLY more gold than the one we did in Girdwood! We hope these ladies have years of success in their business. We will recommend them to everyone we know!

We had a great time panning for gold at Gold Daughters. Maxine was a fantastic teacher and was generally just fun to talk to about her local knowledge of the area. Cassi was also very knowledgeable and very enjoyable to talk with. Nugget was definitely the topping to the day. We loved his tricks! Great experience and we even found gold in the dirt pile! It was fun!

We had such a great experience here with our 4 kids- age 3-13. They were very excited to try panning for gold and Erika and Max did an excellent job teaching us and pointing out the gold when we got some. The girls at the front desk helped us clean and dry our gold and we each left with a smile and a vile with some gold flakes! Great family activity!
