Such a cool place to stop in and get some awesome Bbq! I had the pulled pork sandwich and it was delicious! I met the owner and quite a few of the staff (Kendra) when here and everyone was beyond friendly! Great experience and I hope you will give this place a try when passing through. Cheers

This family goes back years in bbq experience and it shows !! There pork bellies burnt ends are to die for 😛we drive from Yreka just to eat them call ahead they set them aside for you they sell out fast ..also the smoked brisket sandwich OMG thank you for creating the best bbq etc etc etc

I ordered a rack of ribs. I Paid 30 dollars and when I got home they were overcooked and slimy. These have to be the oiliest, fattiest ribs I have ever tried. Usually your food is decent but not these ribs. Not happy.

I learned of Goebel's from watching Rogue Eats & Lifestyle Show with Ben Abben. Ben reviews local eateries from Ashland to Grants Pass. Goebel's selections looked awesome, so I visited with my wife. She had a pork taco and I had pulled pork sandwich. Great bbq flavor and ample portions. Next door they have added indoor seating, 1 large table and several small 2 seaters. The artisans consignment shoppe has been rearranged to accommodate dining.

So this will be the longest review ive done this year. But pay attention it is worth the read. Now let me get' right into the Meat and Potatoes of the review of GOEBELS COUNTRY STORE AND BBQ. Its located in a great little town close to a beautiful river Shady Cove Oregon, about 15miles from Medford in Southern Oregon. This Restaurant is worth ANY beautiful drive to get to the Best Tasting Food in this little town, well Id say in Whole Southern Oregon. Personal note I was a Chef for 10yrs at Porters Fine Dining. This small, rustic, cabin feel of a place is Heaven..Except at GOEBEL'S, the People responsible for creating the Best tasting BBQ Meats and delicious side dishes is Pit Master Seth and along his working side his talented wife Laura. They come hours before they open to do the magic they do to produce Great Meats to Eat from Brisket, Smoked Sausage, to Spare Ribs and Smoked Turkey..My favorite forever is the Pork Belly FAT.I can describe this meat, Meat Candy..Yeah it is soo good. Of course they have sides like Creamy Coleslaw and Country Potato Salad which for sure rounds off the meal. They also have a Awesome Locally Produced Art, Jewelry to Stuffed Big Game,for the person who has everything except one of these....It is something i would recommend everytime your there as it changes so go inside and see for yourself the most unique and vast amount of Wood Carvings to Wood. Its like besides filling up your belly, they offer a mini mall of Eye Candy free of charge. Ok there is no candy for free i get it..If you are looking for something for yourself of another this is the place you will find one of a kinds and be a Superstar gift giver. I have to suggest one more awesome and favorite ok so i have a couple of favorites is on Fridays only the serve Jalapeno Poppers on a stick Bacon Wrapped OMG. That is until they run out. And i know i make sure i get them first thing, i mean i hav'nt camped out YET..As for prices, can they put a price on the Mona Lisa, well yes, yes they can , but GOEBOLS'S is much cheaper. To find this dont worry just follow your nose and the coolest crowds of people sitting on the half-cut tree benches..Laughing at my tent on Fridays..And EATING GOEBOL'S BBQ. Ok really last suggestion, can anyone add another FRIDAY to our calendar, just asking.

Best BBQ I’ve had in all of Southern Oregon. Super cute store front to eat in, definitely a must stop if you’re in the shady cove area.

So delicious! We were so hungry from our trip and wanted to try some delicious food. We could not have found a better place than this. I’ll definitely come back. Staff is super friendly and they have a little store were you can find some really pretty souvenirs.

People were friendly, a girl climbed out the takeout window to get a beverage from the fridge. Food was mediocre. Beans were the worst I've ever had.
