The last 4 times I attempted to get pizza at this location been told 2 different things. 1 they could not make anything and it would be over a hour wait when store is not busy at all. Second that I could only get pepperoni or cheese only. I absolutely love this pizza and it's a total let down especially in new market/mt. Jackson area since choices are very limited. If I had been able to get pizza desired I know it would be great and rave review. Sad they hurt themselves cause they won't make simple pizza's.
We get pizza from here quite often and the quality is superb! No one will ever believe that you can get this good of pizza from a gas station, but its a gem! The woman that makes it every Friday evening is always pleasant to us and efficient. Even reminds you that you are ordering from the godfathers in Newmarket (because there is another one in timberville). Keep it up!
Godfathers is my fave....having grown up in Omaha in the 1980's!! Finding this Godfather's...just off I-81 on my way back to the DC Metro area has been wonderful. I called in my order about 40 miles south of New Market and the pizzas were waiting for me as I walked in, perfectly made, just like I remember from my teenage years!!
Good place to get pizza if you’re staying in New Market! The bacon cheeseburger pizza was delicious and the service was pretty quick! Their selection of toppings was pretty good also.
Ordered a medium pizza from a on line site God father has at new market. 3 to 5 topping for 12.99. Went to pu and charged 16.99 plus tax . On line medium says 12.99 3 to 5 toppings. Went to pay for it and questioned the charge not only they said they do not have on line site but price are not right. On line medium pizza 12.99 and large is 13.99 3 to 5 toppings. . Didn't get my medium pizza and over charged me for the large. Check online there is a menu and prices are different. Surprise surprise surprise . Will not shop there any more for pizza or anything else. Food was good skimpy on the toppings for a 16.99 pizza. Can't trust anyone anywhere how many people have they screwed over. Just like the Mexican restraint in New market prises they charge Re different from on line menus. Becareful with deceptive pricing on line.
Pizza was good. The owner was really nice. Always nice to meet people from up North.
The staff are extremely rude (especially the older man), the store is dirty, outdated products, the pizza is subpar and overpriced. The store is also listed as "handicap accessible" but it isn't. Save your money and go somewhere else!
Our whole family enjoys the taco pizza from Godfathers. We tend to order on the weekends except the past couple times we call to order and Tina is working she tells us “we don’t have taco pizza” knowing they do she just doesn’t want to make it. Why have a business if you aren’t going to make things the customer asks for? I would highly recommend their taco pizza expect you’ll only be disappointed because Tina doesn’t want to make it.
Amazing coffee, great bakery items, and delicious food. My last visit, I had the pesto provolone grilled cheese wth a caramel latte. Both were outstanding. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is very inviting. Best coffee in town, for sure!
We stayed at the RV campground for 2 nights and had a great time. The campground is very quiet, clean, and nicely wooded. Sites are spacious. Cool playground for the little ones. Tracy was very friendly and helpful. We also visited the caverns and re
We were lucky and got invited in for lunch by a member named Leslie and had a great time trying to hold our own with his friends trying to figure out where my ancestors place was on the Egypt bend of the Shenandoah river. One gentleman knew and was r
Lots of great artifacts and information. The walk was gorgeous, well maintained, and most importantly manageable for my father. The buildings at the farm are amazing and well kept. Definitely worth the 25 bucks and 3 hours we meandered around for. Cl
