Lots of fun! Clean-ish restrooms. Much better than other public park restrooms I've taken my kids in. The splash pad has something for all ages to enjoy. A big bucket that fills up and dumps out is my older kids' favorite part. 😍
The splash pad has lots of shaded seating and plenty of picnic spots around it and there are two playgrounds very close by as well. We enjoyed our visit but I really want to to caution parents that this splash pad is SLIPPERY. the cement is smooth (vs the other concrete splash pads in Wichita that have a rougher texture) so when it gets wet it's extremely easy to slip. I saw a couple of toddlers, mine included who were struggling to stand and even just walk around. I saw lots of older kids and even a parent, who were all walking, slip as well. So just be careful and if you have water shoes with tread maybe encourage your kids to wear those while playing!
Great park and splash pad to take kids of all ages! Ours ranged from 1-30 and we all had a ball! The dual swings, large water bucket and jungle gym to climb were some of the favorites. We also really enjoyed rolling down the big hill. It's definitely a nice clean park to take your kiddos.

Brought my goddaughter here to wait for Tanganyika to open. The water was chilly, but she still had fun. There was a boy who showed her the button to cycle the system and even reset it after it ran out several times.
Such a fun place for the kids to go and cool down. Plenty of shade to sit in for the parents. Gave 4 stars because it is very slippery just make sure you watch your step...And remind the littles to slow down.. do not run...edit........... almost a year later it seems that it is getting worn down rapidly the water area just looks dirty and worn..gave 3 stars for that reason but this kids still had fun.. Still very slippery. Solution for that is grippy water shoes. There have been some added shades above seating through the park which is nice.
