Very nice trail with amazing rocks along the trail. This one was hard for an old guy like me. The trail is nicely maintained but in some area is steep. Scenic views can be seen along the way. It is recommended to take proper hiking shoes and plenty of water. This hike was a challenge for me but very rewarding.
I only hike down to goat rock, but it's beautiful the entire way.
Lots of area with wash out. Many weeds and blades of grass protruding into trail. Makes me nervous because that's how I've gotten poison ivy in the past. Serpentine both at beginning and end. Nice and quiet.
The hike was perfect for anyone with little to no trail experience. I hiked with my 68yr old dad and 7 week old baby. Easy elevation and beautiful scenery along the way. Yes, it is a bunch of trees, boulders and more trees but definitely worth it if you are into those things and appreciate what nature has to offer. There is a cool crooked pine tree along the hike worth a look too.
Good view point. U can drive all the way up here and walk around. Easy parking considering we went on a Saturday afternoon

Nice open trail with fabulous views as you hike up along the side of the mountain. Footing is quite rocky in places and there are no benches. Watch for the stairway leading to the overlook on Goat Rock. This trail intersects with Gulpha Gorge trail and Dead Chief (aka Oertel) trail. This photo was taken from the overlook.
Relatively easy gravel trail. Significant elevation change, but switchbacks make the grade easy to handle. Well maintained. Beautiful views. Keep in mind, when you enter Goat Rock trail at the top, you actually end up on Gulpha Gorge trail, which brings you out to the park road to walk back up to the parking area. The trail is not a loop that we could find. Also, be prepared to run into horseback riders on the trail.

Pretty place. The gentleman was very helpful helping my husband decide what to order ( which he enjoyed) The little girl was super cute and nice of course. She assisted my two kiddos pick out a bracelet. Highly recommend this awesome place.
Absolutely breathtaking. Visiting Anthony Chapel was one of my bucket list items and I am so grateful I had the opportunity to experience it in person. There are no public restrooms unless you pay admission to enter the gardens.
