We went to Niagara Falls on the NY side to celebrate our wedding anniversary and would highly recommend it! The parking was very accessible and close to the walking trails, and the entire park was very well maintained. It was patrolled by several rangers during our time there and is a very beautiful and intriguing place to visit. Also an economic trip as the park was free to enter and nearby hotels are extremely reasonable. It's dog friendly-the entire park and the Cave of the Mist is as well (last I checked). Our dog absolutely LOVED being able to see the falls and explore the paths. Goat Island is simple to navigate with various landmarks and sights to admire. Great view of the falls. We went during December and this was an optimal spot to watch the fireworks.
Feel power of nature while looking at falls. You can see all 3 falls America Falls; Bridal Veil Falls and Horseshoe Falls while at Goat Island. You can touch Niagara River water flowing towards American Falls.

I am delighted to share my five-star review for Goat Island, Niagara Falls. This remarkable destination left me in awe with its breathtaking beauty, close encounters with nature, and unforgettable experiences. Goat Island is truly a nature lover's paradise. Situated right in the heart of Niagara Falls, it offers a front-row seat to witness the raw power and magnificence of the falls. The views from various vantage points on the island are absolutely awe-inspiring. From the deafening roar of the water to the mist rising in the air, every moment spent here is a testament to the awe-inspiring forces of nature. One of the highlights of Goat Island is the accessibility it provides to experience the falls up close and personal. Walking along the well-maintained trails, you can feel the power of the rushing water and marvel at its sheer force. The close proximity to the falls creates a truly immersive experience that will leave you with lasting memories. The island itself is a well-preserved haven of natural beauty. Lush greenery, towering trees, and colorful flora create a serene and tranquil atmosphere. It's a pleasure to explore the island's trails, breathing in the fresh air and taking in the sights and sounds of nature. The well-placed observation points and lookout areas offer picture-perfect views and ample opportunities to capture the beauty of the falls. Goat Island also provides a range of activities and attractions that enhance the overall experience. Whether it's taking a boat ride to the base of the falls on the Maid of the Mist, embarking on a thrilling Cave of the Winds tour, or simply enjoying a picnic with loved ones, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
Amazing views! Well maintained, ample parking. The falls are simply stunning and the park has walkways from many different angles that you can enjoy. $10 admission fee per vehicle that includes parking, extra charge for cave of the winds.
Goat Island in Niagara Falls is a truly breathtaking natural wonder. Located in the heart of the falls, this small island offers visitors a unique and up-close experience with the mighty cascades. I had the privilege of visiting Goat Island recently, and it left me in awe. The island provides unparalleled panoramic views of the Niagara Falls from various vantage points. As you wander along its well-maintained trails, you'll be treated to stunning vistas of the roaring waters, mist-filled air, and the surrounding lush greenery. It's a sensory experience that is difficult to put into words. One of the highlights of Goat Island is the Bridal Veil Falls, which can be observed from multiple angles. Its ethereal beauty and graceful descent captivated me. Additionally, the proximity to the American Falls and Horseshoe Falls is remarkable, allowing visitors to witness the sheer power and grandeur of these natural wonders. The island is thoughtfully designed with observation points, lookout decks, and informative signage, providing interesting facts and historical information about the falls. It's educational and enriching, making the visit not only visually captivating but also intellectually stimulating. Another notable aspect of Goat Island is its abundant wildlife. As I strolled through the trails, I encountered squirrels, birds, and occasionally even glimpses of deer. It's a serene and natural habitat that adds to the overall charm of the island. In terms of amenities, Goat Island offers convenient parking facilities, clean restroom facilities, and picnic areas for visitors to relax and enjoy the surroundings. This viewpoint is probably the best you will find on the US side of the Niagara Falls. If you are going to the other paid attractions on Goat Island, you must definitely walk to this viewpoint! It gives you a very close view of the Horseshoe Bend and
The power of the water blows you away. While the other falls may be larger this is equally as impressive. I read a sign that it said 75000 gallons per second go over these falls. Incredible to be there. Even better in the fall with the colorful folia
I've had wings from all over WNY, and all over the US... I can honestly say, without lying, that their wings are my favorite. Consistently perfect. Not rubbery, not chewy, crunchy, enough sauce, great flavor... I can find no fault. Bravo. I've been r
Nice way to give recognition to a very well renowned scientist that shaped modern world so vastly. The various attractions around Niagara Falls will espouse on the contributions of Nikola Tesla, so be sure to read more about him while touring Niagara
